Don't mess with Star! (Mac)

"Would have had to." I said to her. "But it's hard to answer that. I don't know if I would haven taken the trouble and explaining for a girl I didn't know personally."

Kat nodded and looked back down. "I am sorry I got you into trouble, but part of me isn't sorry for what I did."

"Well, I think I understand that. Sorry, if I let the detective take over too much." I repied seriously.

"You have nothing to be sorry for Mac." She said.

I give her a small smile.
"Well, I guess protecting his family isn't always as easy as it seems... but what's still bugging me is why he kidnapped Star in the first place. Couldn't get that outta him."

Kat shrugged. "I don't know."

Star ran out with her doll.

I smiled seeing her. "Sure."

I gave her a smile and nod.

Star smiled p at Mac.

I smiled at her, too.
"Your idea, am I right?" I asked her, but in a light tone.

Star nodded fast. "Mommy's face workie on her."
I roll my eyes.

"I see. You're one smart little girl." I replied and smiled a little.

"Like mommy?" She asked.
I looked at them. "Star I'm not smart."

"Yeah, like her. Because I know she is smart, most of the times." I said, looking at Katrina.

"oh ouch Mac." I say looking at him.

"I said most of the time." I remarked.

"I know what you meant though." I say.

I smile at her.

I stick my tongue at him.

I pout playfully and then poke her.

I poked back. Star shook her head at us.

I chuckled a little and then look at them.
"So, what do you want for dinner?"

I shrugged. "Do you even have food in you kitchen?"

"Believe it or not, I do. But we could also go out or order in." I replied.
