Spreading the Word [Thomas/Shannon, Everyone]

Shannon sat back and thought for a moment

I was actually getting a little nervous right now, because I didn't know how she'd take it. I knew she could teach Erin all those things and I knew that Erin that Erin was still young, but since she asked me, I thought it could be a good idea.

after a while, Shannon looked at Haylen, "You can teach her, but I will be with her." she replied

I nodded.
"Sure." I agreed. "You know, I always want to be fair to both girls. Think Colleen would want to join her sister?"

Shannon nodded, "I have a feeling that Colleen would like that, I'll talk to her tonight." she replied

I smiled a little.
"And you're sure you're okay with it?" I asked just to be sure.

"Yes I am" Shannon replied

I nodded and smiled a little. I knew she was protective over her children, just like every mother should and she always chose carefully, what they were supposed to learn.

Shannon took a sip of her drink, then looked out the window, it was cloudy out this day, but as usual, the people were out in force

I merely stared into my cup, lost in thoughts for a moment.

Shannon finished her drink, then got up to dispose of her cup

I watched her for a moment and then finished my own coffee knowing that a lot of paperwork was still waiting for me.

"Well, back to the paperwork" Shannon said outloud

I turned with my cup in my hand and nodded.
"Oh yes, the second love of my life." I said with sarcasm in my tone and smirked.

Shannon smiled when Haylen said that to her, then walked out of the break room

I cleaned my cup and then sighed a little, before walking back to my office, getting my paperwork done.

Shannon did the same, looking at a photo of her family from time to time
