Spreading the Word [Thomas/Shannon, Everyone]

Shannon smiled, "Thanks Haylen" she replied

"You're welcome. Well... that gets another idea... if we decide to have flower girls, think Erin and Colleen would still want to do that?" I asked, just thinking about the idea. Of course I wouldn't just decide that without my husband to be.

Shannon thought for a moment, "I'll talk to them" she replied

I smiled a little.
"It just was an idea." I said blushing a little.

Shannon nodded and smiled a bit, "I know" she replied, "I'd just like to tell them anyway." she added

"I don't mind. Think Keven would ask Thomas to be his best man?" I asked curiously, actually just thinking about the two of them.

"I do" Shannon replied, "Thomas would love to do that for him." she added

I smiled a little at that thought. I smiled more than I sometimes realized, something that somehow scared me a little.
"Gosh... I'm smiling more than I am used to..." I said a little sheepishly.

"Nothing wrong with that Haylen" Shannon replied, "Your happy" she added

I nodded.
"That I am. Actually a good feeling."

Shannon smiled as well, it made her happy to see Haylen this way, "Your going to be a great wife and mother Haylen." she said to her

"Okay, the word mother scares me a little." I said a little nervous.

"Why?" Shannon asked

I sighed a little.
"Well, actually, I haven't been thinking about that seriously yet, just not sure I'll really make a good mother." I replied. "Stupid, eh?"

"No its not Haylen" Shannon replied, "Your going to be a great mother Haylen." she said to her in a supportive tone

I smiled thankfully.
"Thanks, Shannon. At least I've got enough friends I can ask." I replied in a lighter tone.

"Your welcome" Shannon replied, a smile on her face

While passing by I head Shannon and Haylen talk so I walked over there and said "Congradulations! You people told Mac yet?"

Shannon looked at Don, then back at Haylen

I looked at Don, smiling a little.
"Thanks Don." I said happily. "And no, I didn't talk to Mac, yet. Wanted to wait a little and see who'd notice. I'll talk to him on Monday."

Shannon nodded a bit, then looked back at Don

I looked at both of them and smile a little.
"Okay... maybe I'll talk to Mac before the weekend. If he's got a minute." I said changing my mind a little. He deserved to know.

Shannon nodded, "You could go now" she replied

I looked at her and thought for a while.
"Guess I could do that." I said, getting up from my chair and grabben those files I was already done with.
"Killin' two birds with one stone."

Shannon nodded, then stood up from her chair
