Tough Day [Thomas/Everyone]

I closed the door behind him and quickly put my hair into a ponytail, so it didn't look as bad. I knew that he wouldn't say anything about it, but being a woman I always cared about that.
"I was just thinking about you..." I told him, looking at him.

Keven smiled, "I was thinking about you as well." he replied, the box with the ring in his hand, "How have you been?" he asked

"Despite the little shock from yesterday I was fine, but missing someone important." I told him in truth. Honestly I was a little nervous right now, as I was thinking about Thomas' words.

Keven nodded in reply, "I'm glad your okay" he replied, taking her hand and smiling a bit

I smiled at him.
"I'm glad about that, too. what about you?"

Keven nodded, "Well, I have something for you that could make your day better." he replied

I gave him a surprised but curious look.
"You got me more than curious." I said, a little uncertain, but also anticipating.

Keven smiled a bit, then took the ring out of the box, it was a small diamond in a round cut, Keven took Haylen's hand and slipped the ring on her finger

I wasn't really able to do anything, but smile.
He was right about making my day perfect.

Keven smiled, then kissed her, "Haylen, will you marry me?" he asked

I looked into his eyes and nodded.
"Yes, I will." I said happily, my eyes now watering.

Keven smiled, then pulled her close to him and kissed her again

I held onto him, returning the kiss and just enjoyed the feeling while I sent a silent prayer of thanks for the second time in two days.
"Perfect." I said almost in a whisper.

Keven slowly pulled back from the embrace and looked at the woman that was going to be his wife

I looked back actually to happy to say anything. Not to mention that I still couldn't believe it.

Keven smiled at Haylen, "We have a lot of planing to do" he said to her

I smiled and nodded.
"That we do and I know the perfect person to help us if needed." I said in a happy tone. "Think I'm never get out of smiling for the rest of my life."

Keven nodded, "Who is that?" he asked, nodding in reply to Haylen's comment about her smiling

"Hm... how about the Kelly's?" I reply, now thinking that when Thomas spoke to me yesterday he knew more than he was telling, just like I thought yesterday,

Keven nodded, "When can we meet with them?" he asked

I looked down and thought for moment.
"You know... I'd like to keep it between just the two of us for now, I'd like to see who notices first. But... how about we invite them for dinner on saturday?" I suggested.

Keven thought for a moment, then nodded, "Thats a great idea" he replied, still holding Haylen's hand

I gave him a big smile and then gently rest my head on his shoulder.

Keven put his arm around Haylen as they stood there, at the same time, he thought about what was going to happen to them in the next few months

I was thinking about pretty much the same things, but also tried to picture the faces and reactions of my family and those that were close to me. I knew my family loved Keven and that was something really encouraging. I knew that probably they'd all be happy for us. And I was a little nervous about all the changes for us but with him at my side I was actually more than happy to see the world through the eyes of a happily married woman, having the best husband she could think of. Oh that's so... sappy, Haylen I thought with a smile.
