Tough Day [Thomas/Everyone]

Thomas smiled as well, "I've heard a rumor that he may ask you to marry him soon." he replied

"What?!" I asked a little shocked and surprised at the same time.

Thomas thought quickly, "I was talking with Keven a while back and he said that he would like to marry you."

"Oh my..." I said, almost afraid to believe it.

Thomas nodded slowly, "He's a good man Haylen" he replied

I nodded slowly and then looked at him, feeling my eyes wanting to water.
"I know he is. Just..." my voice trailed off. "Too good to be true."

Thomas walked over and comforted her, "Haylen, talk to him about it."

I looked at him and smile.
"You know, actually I'm happy to hear that. I don't want to ruin it for him." I said.

Thomas nodded, "Thats good" he replied

I smile at him.
"I get the feeling that you know quite a lot more than you're telling at times." I teased a little.

Thomas smiled a bit in reply, "I might" he replied

I shook my head with a smile.
"You know, I am just too curious but I think I don't want to ask what else you know that I don't."

Thomas nodded, "Aye" he replied, Thomas closed up his locker, then headed out

I shook my head and followed him outside, my car keys now in my hand.

Thomas got his car and headed home, hoping that Haylen would be okay

On my way to the elevator I walked past Mac's office, seeing he was still there I stopped by and talked to him for a few more moments before he sent me home to take the next two days off to rest a little, just as Thomas told me. Of course I thanked him and then got home, too, thinking about calling Keven, but since he had been working the night shift the day before and it being quite late I figured he'd probably gone to bed early, so sent him a message, telling him I was home and would call him the next morning, in case he wasn't up anymore.

meanwhile, Thomas got back to his home, Shannon was sitting the front room, he walked over and sat next to her, they talked for a bit, then went upstairs to their room and went to bed, Thomas fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow

At that time I was sitting in my bed, reading in a book I started a while ago, till I was too tired to keep my eyes open. Luckily I wouldn't wake up from nightmares.

across the city, Keven was asleep as well, next to his bed was a black box that had a ring in it, he was hoping to give it to Haylen the next day

And while I didn't know my mind was relying on what Thomas told me and when I woke up the next morning I smiled at the thought of the dream that I had.

meanwhile, Thomas got up as well and walked down to the kitchen, at the same time, Keven was up and heading over to Haylen's place

I got up and started the coffe, as well as I started making breakfast, thinking about calling Keven.

at the same time, Keven walked up to her door and knocked on it

I took a look at the clock on the wall when I heard the knock and smiled a little guessing who it was.
I went and opened the door, seeing it really was Keven I let him in.
"Morning." I greeted him with a happy smile.

Keven smiled back at Haylen, then kissed her, "Morning Haylen" he replied, he felt better seeing her, despite noticing that her hair was mess
