the doctor looked at her, "Hello Katrina, I have some good news: your fever has gone down some, but we want to keep you here one more day just to be on the safe side." he said

Katrina looked at the doctor. "You really suck."
The doctor laughed

Thomas smiled a bit as the doctor laughed

"And your a little street brat." The doctor joked.
"No I'm a bitch." Katrina smirked as she said that.

I smirked, glad the doctor took it with humor.

Thomas felt the same way about the banter between the two

"Your a bad patient you know that?" The doctor said.
"I knew that." Kat grinned.

Thomas shook his head as they talked and went back and forth at each other

The doctor soon left.

I looked at Katrina with smirk.

Zac looked at them.

Thomas watched them, "Zac is a good man for you Katrina." he said to her

Zac smiled. Katrina looked at Zac. "I already knew that." She smiled

I smiled a little at them.
"That's ma street girl." I said in a light tone.

She smiled. "I'm not really a street girl anymore."

"True, though you'll always have a little of that inside." I said.

She nodded.

I smiled at her.
