E. coli or just another problem? (Thomas/Mac/Zac)

Outside I thought about maybe going back to my place and then maybe give Katrina a call later. But I can't really get myself to leave just yet.

Katrina sighed sitting up. "I freaking hate Hospitals!"

Thomas nodded, "Understandable" he replied, still holding Katrina's hand

Katrina tried pouting. "Can we go?"
Zac laughed,

"Not yet Katrina" Thomas replied

Katrina pouted more. "Mac would let me go."

"I'm not him lass" Thomas replied

SHe rolled her eyes. "I know....But still you should let me go." She said in a sweet voice and smiled sweetly.

"Not until the doctor says so" Thomas replied

She sighed and folded her arms.

Thomas could tell that Katrina was upset, "I'll be back in a little while." he said to her, he then turned around and walked out of the room

Katrina nodded.

Outside I looked at Thomas when he walked out of the room. I could tell that it didn't go to his liking or hers.
"Let me guess.... she wants to go home?" I asked in a low tone, not knowing what happened inside.

Thomas nodded, "That is correct" he replied, "The nurse that was in the room brought up some bruising on Katrina's wrists." he added

I gave him a questioning look.
"Any ideas how she got them?" I asked a little worried.

"No" Thomas replied

I sighed, obviously a little confused.

Katrina and Zac talked.

Thomas could see the confusion on Mac's face

"You know, sometimes I feel a little left out, though I used to think Kat and I were pretty close." I said a little quieter.

Thomas nodded slowly, "You should come over more often" he said in reply

"Obviously." I said with a small smile.

Thomas smiled a bit as well

"Well, I guess I'll visit her a little later. I know she hates when I worry about her..." I said a little uncertain, though.

Thomas watched Mac as he said that, "Mac, your part of her family" he replied, "Don't let it get to you is Katrina worries like that."
