"I don't know but I don't think they let me go any time soon. I'm glad to have a faithful visitor like you" I smile

outside, Thomas comforted Shannon, his arm around her as she buried her head into Thomas's chest

"For you always, Stella." I said quietly, looking down to my hand still on hers and finally pull it back.

"What are you doing?" I ask when I feel his hand leaving mine

I look up a little confused and then put my hand back.
"Better?"

"Yes, I didn't tell you to let go" I smile. I'm glad he put his hand back on mine

"Didn't know you liked it." I say but smile.

"I need you to hold my hand ok" I tell him and look at the wall

I nod, but say nothing. I just watch her for a while.
"You know, I'm not getting scared easily, but..." I start and then stop, not sure I should say what I wanted to.

"why are you scared no one is hurting one of us we all are fine" i ask

"you don't have to be worried about me" i say with a smile

"Not now, that's true. You're one tough woman, Stella. Toughest I've ever met and that's not a lie." I say in truth and gave her a small smile.

"Well I couldn't protect myself from getting robbed in our own building.." I tell him with a small smile

"Yeah, but yet you pulled through when he could have killed you. Besides I guess he caught you off guard. I would have been overwhelmed by him, too, there." I admit in truth.

"If I wasn't so tired I would have won for sure" I sigh "This situation just sucks.. I have a hole in my body.. this was not how I planned my body to look like at all.."

"But you'll still look great." I said quietly. Heck, did I just say that? Oh Mac, you're so dead now. "Sorry, didn't come right I guess..."

"That's very sweet of you Mac, really but I don't even dare to look.." I explain with a small smile

"Trust me, I wouldn't want to either if this was me." I say and smirk. "It's going to be okay, you'll see."

"well I'll have a scare.. that's not going to be ok but let's stay positive.. It can't be too bad right? just a little hole.. right... " I force myself to smile

"Trust me Stella, it's just going to be tiny, no one will see. Besides, I have to live with a bigger scar." I said with a small smile, hoping to get her to another topic.

"I don't think my scar looks sexy.... well, besides I'm tired I'm fine now." I said. "How's your head?"

"You are going home soon?" I ask a bit sad, I don't want to stay here alone.. in this... boring hospital... "my head is doing alright I suppose" I say with a little smile
