crime rings (anyone)

I quietly started my search down here trying to find my partner in crime, without startling him.

Thomas soon got to the back of the room were he thought he heard the cry, but found nothing, Thomas sighed, then holstered his gun, "Nothing" he said to himself

Meanwhile I was still in making my way over to where I heard his voice coming from, my gun ready, flashlight on for extra light. I was surprised to see a basement in this building but something just seemed odd about this place. It was empty and yet I had a feeling someone was here, someone besides Thomas and me.

Thomas looked over and saw Mac, "Theres no one here" he called out to him

"No one we can see." I said to him. "Call me crazy but I feel like we're not alone in here."

Thomas let Mac's words sink in for a moment, then looked around again, "You hear that?" he asked

I listened carefully and then nodded my head, yes.

Thomas turned and walked to were the sound came from, his gun ready

I followed him, gun ready as well.

"Other closet" Thomas said to himself as he got closer to it, when he was close enough, he put his gloved hand on the doorknob and pulled it open

"As much as I don't like it... 'boom'." I said as he detected the source of the noise.

Thomas lowered his gun, it was Jessica Ackerman, Thomas helped her out of the closet and to the EMTs who were still outside

And again another place to look for traces, so I followed him out and got my kit before walking down again. I hated this already. The one question was, why did they leave two girls behind?

after the EMTs left with Jessica, Thomas walked back inside to help Mac, "This is getting weirder" he said out loud

"I agree." I said quietly, again having found nothing on or inside the closet.

Thomas nodded a bit, meanwhile, the remaining girls were moved to a warehouse near Elias Island, along with ten more victims

"I still wonder why they were left. I don't believe it was coincidence or they just forgot." I say while I close my kit and look around once more.

Thomas nodded, "Looks like we will have to ask Jessica and Sandra." he said to Mac

"Hopefully they know something." I said and grabbed my kit.

"Aye" Thomas replied, he then turned and walked to the door

I looked around one last time and then got out as well, heading to the crime lab and get the evidence processed.

Thomas got back to the SUV and placed his kit in the back

Meanwhile I was in the lab, waiting for Thomas and Mac to return and help them analyzing the evidence. I had heard about the case and was eager to do anything to help them. I was also thinking about maybe going undercover for them, as I fittet their target group but I was sure Thomas and Mac would kick my ass if I only mentioned it, yet I had to try.

Thomas soon got back to the crime lab, getting what little he had up stairs so Haylen could process it

And with Thomas Mac got in, too and soon I was busily processing evidence. They hadn't found much on the scene, but at least they had something. The dusty footprint Mac found belonged to men's boot size 11.5. I was now comparing the handwriting on the note they found with the note from the other Crime Scene.
