I smiled a little. "Actually you'd have good reason to be mad at me..." I replied. "Just saying."

Thomas nodded, "Yes I do" he replied, "But I will worry about that later."

"Alright... I know I deserved it." I said in truth, not looking at him.

"Haylen, why did you go alone?" Thomas asked, "You know you could be put on a weeks suspension."

I knew it was coming, but I was glad to deal with it right away. It wasn't that he was right, but I didn't even know why I went alone. I knew I had a bad feeling about it.
"I don't even know..." I said quietly, looking at him with regret.

Thomas sighed a bit, then sat back in the chair

"Maybe I was just so frustrated that I didn't think it could be dangerous. Told you I was stupid." I added quietly, still not daring to look at him. I felt ashamed of myself.

Thomas looked at her, "Your not stupid Haylen, what you did was, at the risk of sound like a fool." he replied

"That doesn't really help either. But I learned my lesson..." I replied honestly.

Thomas nodded, then stood up, "I'm going to call Mac" he replied

"Ouch..." I commented, knowing that he was going to be mad... or that I thought. "You tell me what he said, right?"

Thomas nodded, "I will" he replied gently, Thomas then walked out of the room

I sighed and watched him leave. Once all alone again, I thought about what happened, every single picture came back to my mind, though my ind was playing games with me, imagining what if they would have killed me. That actually brings tears to my eyes.

outside, Thomas spent the next few minutes talking to Mac

I whiped my eyes a few moments later and think about what I would tell Keven, when he gets to hear the whole story. But that didn't make me feel any better.

Thomas walked back in and looked at her

I dared to look at Thomas as he came back in.

Thomas looked at her, "Your suspended for the week" he replied gently

I nodded slightly. "I won't complain about it." I replied quietly.

Thomas nodded softly, "I called Keven, he is on his way." he added

"Thanks." I said with a small smile. "Maybe I should pronounce you guardian angel or something... would be well earned."

"Your welcome" Thomas replied, "I wouldn't go that far." he added

"Life saver?" I suggested in a lighter tone.

Thomas smiled a bit, then nodded, "I like that" he replied

"Good." I replied with a small smile. At that time a soft knock is heard on the door and Tasha comes back. She gave me smile and walked up to check on the IV still attached to me and then looked at both of us.
"Seems you were right... we did find traces of Propofol in your system. But it wasn't much, just enough to keep you out for a while. Doctor says he likes to keep you over night, just to be safe." she said.
