unexpected blast from the past (Stella, Mac, Lindsay and Danny)

I nodded and stepped out of the elevator.

Thomas followed him, walking to the motor pool

As we arrived at the crime scene I started looking around a little more, widening the area I searched.
"Do we know where he came from before he ended up dead?"

Thomas looked at his notes, "According to Flack, Delargy was at a pub near by before coming here." he said to Mac

I nodded and looked around, a thoughtful look on my face.
What was he doing here?

Thomas looked at Mac, "What is it?" he asked

"According the notes he came from a pub... I'm just wondering why he came here." I replied.

Thomas nodded, then remembered the photograph, he pulled it out and looked at it again

"Found something?" I asked him, as he looked at the photo again.

"I believe so" Thomas replied, "The lad is this photo is not Delargy." he replied

"Maybe it's the killer?" I arched my brow.

"Could be" Thomas replied, an undercurrent of anger in his voice

I look arround a little more and finally find something that looks like a dusty footprint. So I get the camera and take a few pictures.

Thomas walked over and looked at the footprint

"Looks like someone was in a hurry. What do you think?" I said as I took a picture of what I've found.

Thomas nodded in reply, then looked around, "So, Lance Corporal Delargy walks past the museum here and is attacked by an unknown person." he said out loud

"So our victim probably was on his way home?" I suggested.

"Aye" Thomas replied with a slight nod

"I assume whoever attacked him knew his schedule and knew that he would walk past the museum, because I doubt this attack was random." I said thoughtfully.

Thomas nodded, thinking about what he and Mac found out so far, looking at the shoe print's direction, Thomas got up and walked in that direction

At the same time I got up, too and just watched him for a few seconds before looking around again.

Thomas continued walking back in the direction the print pointed, walking past the entrance gate to the museum parking lot and to the street

At some point I followed him to the street, having found a barely visible blood trail.
"Hello again." I said thoughtfully. "Whoever ran this way was wounded."

Thomas nodded, then took a swab of the blood, "I better get back to the lab and found out who this blood belongs to." he said

I nodded and got my kit back to the car.
