unexpected blast from the past (Stella, Mac, Lindsay and Danny)

"we're still waiting for the results of the other evidence that was found on the scene" I reply

I nodded.

"Okay..." I say somewhat confused.

"Go check it out by yourself" I tell him and point at Adam

"Maybe I should, but to me he seems to be okay." I say with a faint smile but leave again.

meanwhile, Thomas continued to process what evidence that he had collected from the crime scene, keeping his anger in check at the revelation that he had come across

Stella had gone to her office but kept an eye on Adam.. he was different even though Mac wouldn't believe me. Stella opened her drawer and grab a magazine she bought this morning. She knew waiting for the results would take ENDLESS but like this she managed

at the same time, Thomas got a lead in his case, he walked out of the lab and headed to the elevator

I was just nearing the elevator when I almost bumped into Thomas.
"Need some assistance?" I asked, knowing he's probably got a lead.

Thomas looked at Mac, "Yes I could" he replied

I nodded and followed him into the elevator, my coat still on.
"So, what did you find?"

Thomas sighed, "Apart from our victim being in the RIR, he was also a gambler." he replied

"Gee... so gambling debts could be a possible motive, too?" I thought loudly.

Thomas nodded, "Agreed" he replied as they got to the elevator, "I also found this among his effects." he added, showing Mac a photograph

I took a look at the photo and sigh.
"Another motive?"

"It had crossed my mind" Thomas replied

"Alright... doesn't really help us to find the suspect I suppose. What else do we got so far?" I asked as the elevator doors close.

"Lance Corporal Delargy was found by the curator of the Intrepid Museum when he came in to open up for the day. Dr. Hammerback noted he had defensive wounds on his hands, knees and legs, indicating he put up a fight before being stabbed in the gut." Thomas replied

"So probably our victim hurt the killer, too." I said thoughtfully.

Thomas nodded, "Aye" he replied as the elevator took them down to the main floor

"Okay, so where are going to?" I asked him.

"Back to the museum and try to retrace Lance Corporal Delargy's steps." Thomas replied as the doors opened
