Taking a Break [EVERYBODY!!!]

Subject: Taking a Break [EVERYBODY!!!] Fri Apr 16, 2010 5:14 pm

I am working at the Crime Lab for one week now and yet I'm finally able to take a little break and visit the Rest room.
As I entered the room I was all alone inside.
Nobody was in there. Only some fruits in a bowl on one of the tables and all the other peices of funiture, but not a single human being was inside.
Actually I was hoping to meet one of the CSI's here, but now I would have to wait....

*just relax, Haylen, it's your break and someone will come and visit the break room and talk to you.... Just be patient....*
and so I start to enjoy my break, yet, alone.

I only had to fill on some paperwork left and then i was finally done for the day. I made my way to the rest room to grab some coffee.

When i entered the rest room i saw Haylen sitting there, alone. She was here for a week now, and i know how it is to be new..

"Heey Haylen! How are you?" I said while setting down my cup on the counter.

I saw Lindsay entering the break room and was kind of happy to see someone, before my break would be over.

"Hey Lindsay! I'm fine, thanks. Still everythings a bit new for me. How about you? You're done with work today?" I answered her question.

I listen to Haylen and walked over to where she sat. I smiled at her and replied;

"I'm sure you get used to it soon! And i have some paperwork left, what about you? How is you're case going?" I asked her

Lindsay came over to me and smiled. I loved that smile. I smiled back at her and answered her question.

"I'm waiting for DNA results and I'm waiting for someone to come and ask me about the results... guess Mac or Danny will come and ask. I'm kind of happy that I don't have to do that much paper work. Mac seem to spare me that." I said and chuckled lightly.

Yes, she is really lucky that Mac doesnt let her make so much paperwork.. And it seems like that she is adjusting to the lab pretty well. She knows where everything is, but i guess she had a little help of Adam with that.

"Oh okay, sounds like you're doing great here, and yeah, you're lucky!" I told her.

"Well, the time of much paperwork for me will come soon I guess. He won't spare me forever. But it's great to work here with all the nice people and the nice CSI's. I think Adam got used to me now, too." I tell her.

Hahah no i think he won't.. but she should be lucky with all the time she gets from him : ) And i'm glad that she likes it here. It's always scary to start somewhere when you dont even know anybody.. and i didn't even know the whole city.. but it sounds like she's doing great!

"No i think he won't, but be glad with all the time that he gives you!" I said with a laugh. "And we are all happy that you joined us, and yeah it seems like that Adam is getting used to you too, so that's good!" I told her.

I made my way back to the counter, to fill my cup with coffee.

I'm so happy that she said that. Seems like she knew how it felt to be new... Sure... since everybody has a first time to start somewhere.
Well, I am happy that Mac gives me time without paperwork. If I could work in the field someday? Could take a while but I love the lab Smile

and actually I like Adam, too Wink

"Oh, I am happy about the time Mac gives me. But I'm glad to hear that you seem to like me." I said and smiled at her. [b]It's always good to know that I'm welcome."

I filled my cup with some coffee and turned around to look at Haylen again.

"Of course you're welcome!" I said adding a smile. "And you're a great help with everything, and I'm sure that Mac is gonna let you do more and more" I told her.

I'm on my way to the breakroom, to grab a cup of coffee,
I can use it now.. I've been working already 11 hours and I'm tired!

I enter the breakroom and see Haylen and Lindsay mou talking
"Hey girls" I say and smile

I turn around again as i hear Stella entering the room also. Stella was on the same shift as me, but she got called in earlier... she must be tired, and could also use some COFFEE I love you

"I bed he will. I just love that job. It's much better than just be the Crime Scene clean up girl." I said with a big smile. "I'm happy that Mac gave me a chance. Oh hi Stella!" I greet Stella as she entered the room, too.
She looked tired and so I gave her a small smile.

I turned to Haylen again when she replied. Yeah i understand that's way better. When i first got her they stucked me up with all the disgusting jobs.. so seriously.. i got what she meant..

"Yeah i get what you mean.. And I'm really happy for you too!"

*poor Stella... she's been working for quite a long time today...*

I went to the counter and filled her a cup of coffee and offered it to her.

I watched their actions and nodded. "Yeah sure, I'll see you around soon again!" I said to her with a smile.

I laughed at Stella's reactions, i guess she really was daydreaming.. and don't ask me about what.. i mean.. who.. cause trust me.. i knew ALL the details I love you

"Naaah not yet, i still have some paperwork left" i told her.
