Winter Volleyball Game [anybody and everybody can join in!]

It was sooo conveniently scheduled, a game right during the winter break. So many delays caused the first game of the season to start so late and the coaches argued about putting it off no furthur. So there we were warming up, none of us felt cold. The whistle blew and I was set to serve first...

Me and Melina promised to watch Kasey play volleyball,
so here we were on a bench waiting for the game to begin

"I'm wondering who is going to win" I say to Melina who's sitting next to me

The second whistle blew signalling my turn to serve,
Take a del breath Kasey.. I didn't want to quite screw up this being the first high school volleyball game of the season. I tossed the ball and hit it hard and right in the palm of my hand.

A-C-E ACE! My teammates and I yelled.
But the second point wasn't going to be that easy...

I was sitting there looking amazed by the game...but still not quite understanding the rules so I often ended up cheering for the wrong team.

We lost that second point and I heard a cheer from my home team's side of the bleachers. I turned and saw it was Lucy. I smiled and laughed to myself.
She's just too cute... I thought to myself.

OH I just cheered for the wrong team right? I asked all flustered as Kasey looked at me laughingly.

I think Lucy must be our lucky charm I thought. We won the ball back and we were leading in the game 7-2.
Please... I begged. [b] I just really need to win this.[b/] My teammate served the ball, another did a perfect set coming in my direction and I jumped to spike the ball.

YAY I cheered hoping I would be right this time.

This time, Lucy blended with the in crowd and we won that point. I think I even heard Aunts Stella and Melina praising Lucy for cheering correctly..haha...I smiled.
We won the first set and our coach called a time out.

I thought the game was over and ran over to Kasey.I hugged her and jumped up and down excitingly...you won! you won! I shrieked

As soon as I was about to circle around our coach, Lucy jumped up and ran towards me as fast as lightning. She was excited about us winning the game.
Silly Lucy... I patted her head. I then knelted down to tell her the news. Actually, we just won the first part of our game, if we win this part we'll win the game. Keep cheering for us, though alright! I smiled and gave her a wink.

oooohhhh how many parts do you have to win? I asked again blushing as I realised I was standing in the middle of the field ..everyone staring at me. I was really innsecure where I should go now.

If we win this next part, we win the game. However, if we lose it, we have to win the third part to win the game.
I explained to her. I hope she understood, I had no idea how to tell her the rules of volleyball in a simple way.
The whistle blew and it was time to take our positions back on the court. I gave Lucy a little hug before she went back up to Aunt Stella and Aunt Melina, who were beginning to look worried

I scrunched up my face as I listened to Kasey who tried to explain me which part they had to win....I still didn't get it.
There was a whistle and she gently pushed me out of the field towards auntie stella and auntie auntie melina. xD

Hey auntie Stella and auntie auntie Melina I said as I toddled to them.

I went with Lucy, because she had asked me, as did Lindsay could not come, I accepted. So here we are both in the field. I just eclipsed a few minutes to go buy her a drink at the bar next to the benches. And from afar I watch her, for she not go anywhere. Then I start back into it

nope I'm not alone...daddy is buying some drinks but I didn't want to go with him...I wanted to cheer for our team.
I sat next to her only a little booth..

I am now close to Lucy, Stella and Melina. I smile, drink in hand. And I approached my little girl.

I didn't even look up when my daddy gave me the drink. I was too focused on the game so I almost dropped it and pocked the straw into my nose.

I was beside her, I sat down but I gave her his first soda. Then I hear the break down without doing it on purpose. I look thin, then I start to clean

We lost the second set; now we were pressured to win this crucial set. The game has been going on for almost an hour and a half. And If we lost this, we lost the game. And that wouldn't be too good. Being captain of the team, I gave a little pep talk to the girls. Then the referee blew the whistle and we went to our places.
I was set to serve first, and thankfully we won that point.
It was my fourth serve that got broken, my serve hit the net and I got really nervous.
oh boy... I said, and then I let out a little sigh.

I turned back and focused on the game again. I knew it would be hard to win.
Oho I sighed and "unplucked" the straw out of my nose.
