Thomas smiled, "Aye, it was"

Lily smiled. "Okay." she said. "You musta had a lot of girls."

"There were a few" Thomas replied, "But it was your aunt that caught my eye."

"I see. Me thinks she's a very lucky lady." Lily said, smiling.

Thomas smiled back at her

Lily finished her dinner in silence.

Thomas did the same

After dinner, Lily went to her bagpack and got a set of cards and her scatch book and then went back to Thomas. "Up for a little game?"

Thomas watched her, "Of course" he replied

Lily smiled and then got the cards out and made her uncle choose a game.

"Poker?" Thomas asked

"With only us two? Okay." Lily agreed.

"You can play poker with two people, un less you had a different game in mind." Thomas replied, smiling a bit

"Nope. I let ya choose for a reason, but that choice was sooo typical male." she grinned.

Thomas smiled and shook his head

"What?" Lily asked innocently.

"You" Thomas replied, smiling a bit

"Yes, uncle Thomas?" she replied innocently.

"Your an interesting lass, you know?" Thomas replied

Lily looked at him in surprise. "How's that?"

"Well, your very smart and outgoing" Thomas replied

"Outstanding?" she asked, blushing a little.

Thomas smiled, "That too lass" he replied

"But in a good way, I hope." she replied.

"Yes, in a good way" Thomas replied
