spending time with his niece (Haylen)

"But seemed like it." she said, still in a sad tone.

Thomas set the plates down, then pulled Lily close to him

Lily held onto him for a moment.

Thomas did the same

"I wish I had an uncle like you when I little." Lily said, looking up at her uncle.

Thomas looked at her, "Really?" he asked

Lily nodded. "Would have had someone to talk to and.... have fun with."

Thomas nodded in reply, "That is true" he said to her

Lily smiled in reply. "How about we eat our dinner before it gets cold?"

Thomas nodded, then let got of Lily and got his plate

Lily did so as well, almost sad she said that.

Thomas looked at her, "Lily, you okay?" he asked

Lily looked up and nodded. "Are you?"

"Yea" Thomas replied as he ate

"Then I am as well." she said and started her dinner.

Thomas nodded, then continued

Lily stayed quiet during dinner.

Thomas was as well, thinking about what he and Lily had done so far

After a while Lily looked up at her uncle. "Uncle Tom?"

Thomas looked at her, "Yes Lily?" he asked

"Do you remember the first time you fell in love?" she asked out of the blue.

Thomas was surprised a bit when she asked that, "I do" he replied

"What does it feel like, being in love?" she asked curiously.

Thomas looked at her, "Well its....." he started to say, "Its rather hard to describe."

Lily grinned a little, seeing her uncle at a loss for words for the first time. "Was is good?"
