"Be cause it shows my reflective side?" Thomas replied

Lily smiled. "Not what I thought of, but... you're definitely right about that."

Thomas nodded, "What were you thinking?" he asked

You didn't notice I took it." Lily said. "And it's just one of those rare occasions to see you so...." she stopped, searching for the right word.

Thomas smiled a bit, then waited for Lily to finish the sentence

"So... calm and relaxed?" she finished, looking at him.

Thomas nodded, "Aye" he replied, smiling a bit

"That's side not everyone gets to see." Lily said. "But one I like on you."

Thomas nodded again, "I don't always let it show." he replied

"Makes you mysterious." Lily smiled. "But have site that I don't show, too."

"Do you now?" Thomas asked

Lily gave him a look. "You didn't know?" she countered.

"Not until you told me." Thomas replied

Lily gave him another look, not really believing that, but then shrugged. "Well, I can be mysterious as well."

Thomas nodded, "I wonder were you got that from."

"Is mom a mysterious woman?" Lily asled him.

"She can be" Thomas countered

Then I most likely get it from her and my birth mother." Lily said, her face saddening a little.

Thomas saw the change in Lily's face, then took her hand

Lily smiled a bit at Thomas. "Sad I never got to meet her." she said quietly.

Thomas nodded, "You can ask about her."

"I know... but I know it's hard on ma and I don't like to see her sad." Lily replied.

Thomas nodded in reply, "You can always wait until your older."

Lily nodded. "I know she was a lot like ma and I have a lot of things in common with her." she said, smiling a little.
