spending time with his niece (Haylen)

Lilyana smiled a little. She loved watching the sun set and actually found it was quite romantic. At that point she was a girly girl.

Thomas looked back at her, seeing Lilyana smile, "Something on your mind?" he asked

She turned her head to look at Thomas.
"just the girly girl coming through a little." she replied.

Thomas nodded, "Nothing wrong with that" he replied

Lilyana smiled.
"I just love sunset. Kinda romantic." she said in a soft tone.

"Aye" Thomas replied, "I proposed to my wife during a sunset."

"She's one lucky lass, uncle Thomas." Lilyana said, smiling a little. "Being a dreamer I hope I get that, too."

Thomas nodded, "I am sure you will Lilyana" he replied, looking over at her

"You always know how to make a girl feel good." she replied happily.

"Comes with practice" Thomas replied, "And having four daughters"

"Four amazing ones if I may say." she said in truth.

"Thank you lass" Thomas replied, he thought about the girls at the same time, smiling a bit as he did

"You're welcome." she said quietly, smiling as she saw him smiling a little.

Thomas got up and walked over to where Lily sat, sitting down next to her, he put his arm around her in a friendly way, "Lilyana, I know your probably going to have this talk with your parents, but I just want to tell you to be careful around the lads your in school with."

Lilyana looked up at him as she listened to what Thomas said, then looked into the fire, thinking for a moment.
"I am, uncle Thomas. Some girls say even too careful, but... I still am child... at least a little." she replied quietly.

Thomas nodded, "That is true" he replied, "But your also be coming a young lady and the lads are going to notice you a bit more soon."

Probably. It's not like I trust them easily." Lilyana replied rather serious.

Thomas nodded, he admired Lilyana's maturity for her age

Lilyana smiled a little.

Thomas looked back up to the sky

Lilyana watched the fire, thinking back to the first time she went camping.

Thomas looked back at it as well, it soon got a little darker, enough for the stars to be seen

Lilyana looked at Thomas and then lay on her back, her arms crossed behind her head, looking up at the stars. "What's your sign, uncle Thomas?"

"Aries" Thomas replied, "But I don;t read or believe in any of that." he told her gently

Lilyana looked at him, smiling a bit. "Me either. Just like to find it in the sky." she replied.
