Thomas looked back at Lilyana, then back at the path, there was slight clearing up a head

Lilyana was curious about where her uncle was leading her. She eagerly followed him, taking in as much as she could. She liked where she was.

Thomas came to the clearing and stopped, sitting near the edge

Lilyana used the chance and took a picture of him sitting there, before she joined him.

Thomas looked at Lilyana, then put his arm around her

She smiled and leaned against him, looking around with a bright smile.
"I really love it around here." she said.

Thomas smiled a bit, "I knew you would" he replied

I looked up at him, smiling a little, then kissed his cheek.

Thomas smiled when she did that, he then returned the favor

Lilyana giggled a little and then watched a bird fly around them.

Thomas saw it too, at the same time, he welcomed this distraction from his work at the crime lab

Lilyana studied Thomas' expression for a moment and then smiled.

Thomas looked at her, "What?" he asked

"Nothin'." Lilyana replied, still smiling. "Just remembered the first time we met."

Thomas nodded, "I remember that day" he replied

"You're a very different man now." Lilyana said honestly.

"How so?" Thomas asked

Lilyana shrugged a little.
"All playful and... relaxed. Enjoying life, you know what I mean?"

Thomas nodded, "I know" he replied, "Its important to know how to relax when your in law enforcement." Thomas added matter of factlly

"Aye, professor." Lilyana said and smirked.

Thomas smiled when she said that

Lilyana tickled him a little.

"Hey" Thomas said when she did that, Thomas tickled her back

Lilyana giggled, as she didn't manage to get away this time.

Thomas smiled, he stopped tickling her after a while
