Memories sometimes hurt [everyone]

"Hello" Shannon said to Danny as they walked in, Thomas and the kids did the same, seeing Danny's brother and sister behind him

"Hi uncle Danny!" Nikki said as she walked in first after the Kelly family. His sister and brother greeting him as well. Jack and Sean were already saying hello to the girls.

Shannon looked at Nikki when she spoke, then smiled a bit, she could tell that Nikki was growing into a beautiful young woman

"Hey Nik." Danny greeted his niece with a hug and smile. Nikki then greeted Thomas, Shannon and then the girls, Erin and Jamie did the same. At that time Linda walked out of the kitchen, wearing a light summer dress, her shoulder long hair styled a bit. She greeted her guests with a warm smile and thanks for coming.

Shannon looked at Linda, "Hello Linda" she said to her, smiling a bit, "Nice dress" she commented

Linda smiled at Shannon, blushing a bit. "Thank you, Shannon. That goes right back to you." she said, smiling. Danny wrapped his arm around his wife's waist and smiled.

Shannon smiled as well, "Your welcome and thank you" she replied, Erin and Colleen were talking with Nikki, Shannon looked over, then back at Danny and Linda, "Your niece is growing up quick." she commented

"Too quick." Erin piped up and smiled. Danny and Linda nodded in agreement. "The boys are as well." Danny said.

Shannon smiled a bit, "I will say that your sons are going to be strong men like their father." she replied

Danny smirked a bit at that, Linda nodded in agreement. "Aye, they sure will." she said, smiling a bit. Danny nodded. "They're Reagan's what do you expect?" he said, smirking.
"But the girls are just as beautiful as their mother." he added.

Shannon smiled at Danny's comments, "That is true" she replied

"And not less strong as their father." Erin added, just as Henry and Frank Reagan arrived.

Shannon nodded, then turned and saw Danny's father and grandfather, "Commissioner Regan, sir" she said to Frank

Frank smiled a bit being called sir in a private meeting wasn't something he was used to, but he knew to value the respect.
"Nice to meet you again, detectives." he said in a friendly tone and offered his hand.

Shannon and Thomas shook Frank's hand in turn

He gave them a fatherly smile and then was greeted by his grandchildren. Linda was walking back into the kitchen, to finish up and Danny looked at Thomas and Shannon, as he lead them into the living room. "My dad doesn't really like to be called sir in a private meeting." he told them in a kind tone.

Shannon and Thomas looked at Danny, then nodded, "Understandable" Shannon replied

Danny nodded in agreement and smiled a bit.
"So... Sara" he said looking at the oldest daughter of his friends. "I heard you got a lot of calls from the Police Stations around?"

Sara nodded, "I have indeed" she replied, "The furthest one away so far as been the Seattle Police Department." Sara added

Danny smiled when she said that. "You seem like a much wanted young lady." he said to her.

"Aye" Sara replied, "And I have gotten t-shirts from all the departments that have contacted me." she added

"Well prepared now." Danny said, smirking at Sara.

Sara smiled a bit, "That I am" she replied

"That's always good. I'm curious to see where you'll be going then." Danny replied, looking at Sara.

Sara nodded, "You'll find out, though the NYPD is at the top of my list." she replied, Thomas and Shannon each smiled a bit
