Ice cream run. (James Kirk)

I was walking with my little girl going to get ice cream for her when we walk around the counter and bump into some guy. "Oh I'm sorry sir." I say making sure Star was okay and looking up at him.

I was about to leave the counter and as I turn around I got accidentally bumped and the ice cream cone I was holding ended up on my shirt. I looked up to the lady and to the little girl in front of me and smiled. "It's ok" I said as I took some napkin on the table and wipes my shirt.

I bite my lip looking at the guy. Seeing how hot he was make me blush a bit. "I'm really sorry. Here let me buy you another Ice cream." I say picking Star up.

"It's ok miss, accidents happen and it's not really necessary but I won't say no to that lovely offer." I said smiling

I smile. "Good."
Star looked at him. "Hellos."

I smiled and looked at the little girl. "Hi lil lady" I said smiling

Star smiled. "Yous nice and mommy needs boyfriend."
That made me blush.

I chuckled a bit and pinched her cheek lightly. "Well thank you sweet but I'm afraid your mom doesn't want a stranger as her boyfriend." I looked up and extends my hand. "I'm James Kirk" I said smiling

Star shrugged.
I smiled. "Katrina Taylor. Its nice to meet you Mr. Kirk."

"It's nice to meet you too Ms. Taylor." I said smiling and looked back to the girl "And you lil miss, may I know your name as well?

I smiled sown at Star. "You going to tell him your name babygirl?" I asked.

Star looked at me then him. "Me Starlight."

"That's a really pretty name. It's nice to meet you Starlight." I said smiling.

"thanks you." Star grinned.

I smiled holding Star.

"So yous and mommy going to date?" Star asked.

I turned red again and look down.

Chuckles "I'm sure who ever the guy your mom choose to date will be a very lucky one Star, but I'm afraid I won't be able to take her out. Mr. Kirk already found himself a Detective." I said smiling

I look at him. "I'm sorry some friends talked her into asking every guy that question." I say with a little smile.

I smiled. "It's ok, you do have a very adorable daughter."

I smiled hearing that. "Thank you. She's three, huh babe."

"Me big girl!" Star cheered.

I smile as I watch Star.

After a few minutes of standing there I say "Well lets get that Ice cream."

Star nodded.

"Yup" I nodded and walks with you to the counter.

I smile and look at him. "What would you like?"

Smiles. "Coffee crumble please"

I nod and get his and Star's ice cream and hand him his after paying for them. "Promise I'll not knock them one on you."

I chuckled. "Thank you" I said as I take the cone. "I hope you'll let me pay for the next ones if we bumped here again." I said smiling

I laugh a little. "Maybe."
Star smiled eating her ice cream.
