A walk to remember [Mac]

The elevator doors go open and we step out of it and walk to our apartment. "Glad we don't live very far from work anymore"

"I agree on that. Doesn't take a cap ride to get home." I say and smile a little, remembering how it was a few months ago.

I smile and unlock the door, letting you walk in first as I was the one to lock it behind us anyway.

I get inside and take my coat off.

I lock the door behind us and take my coat off as well. I walk to the bedroom and take my shoes off too and put them away

I walk into the kitchen and start dinner while I know you're changing into something more comfortable.

I walk into the kitchen and pull you in a hug without a reason, just because I love him

I smile.

"What are we having tonight?" I ask as I look at you

"Chicken and rice with veggies." I reply.

"Nice" I smile and pull away "I better let you do your cooking duty then huh"

I smirk.
"If you don't want me to burn anything, you may."

"I'll be in the living room" I smile and walk to the living room

I nod and smile and then get back to my task, making dinner.

I sit down on the couch and grab a magazine

I quickly finish my task and roast the chicken, while rice and veggies are coocking.
When everything is ready I get it onto two plates and take them to the table.
"Hungry?"

"very much indeed" I say with a smile, I put the magazine away and walk to the table "it looks great"

I smile.
"Thanks."

I sit down by the table and look at you "are you okay? you're so quiet today"

I look up and nod.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just tired." I reply in truth.

"So I'm gonna have to send you to bed quite early then" I smile

"Send me huh? Do I get a story before bed?" I ask and smirk.

"No, you get a good night kiss, is that good too?" I ask smiling

"No story?" I ask with a playful pout.

"I'm sorry little Mac man, no story today" I reply
