Birthday Surprise [Stella/Eleni]

I look at her and sigh a little. I couldn't just decide to stay without Stella wanting me to, but I also didn't want to see my girl sad at her birthday.
"Well... I don't mind the couch." I reply, looking at both of them.

"that's a start dad!" Eleni smiles, hugs her dad and whispers "she won't let you sleep on the couch wait and see"

I turn and smirk at her and then look at Stella.

I wonder what Eleni just said but I just shake my head with a smile and look at the cookies

Ilook at Stella with a serious expression.
"You okay with me staying?"

"Of course you can stay" I smile at him and look at Eleni, we'll talk about this tomorrow........ I think to myself

I noticed that thought, but don't say anything further.

Both Eleni and I walk back to the living room and sit down.

I watch them for a moment and then follow them.

"I think we can try a cookie in 15 minutes" i say smiling

I smile at her, but still am a little worried about the fact that Eleni almost made her agree on me staying here tonight. But for our daughter's sake I keep my mouth shut.

I, as well stay quiet while Eleni is already busy with her phone

I smile when I see her. Teenagers are always busy with their phones.


[Don't worry, Thomas joined yesterday as well. And nothing really happened so far. Just saying, Mac's gonna come too ]

"So mac what are your plans for tomorrow?" I ask with a smile

[Can mac and stell go together?]

"Working the night shift, much to my dismay..." I reply with a small frown.
"What about you?"



[Of course ]

"nightshifts are the worst.. I'm staying home, my shift starts monday again" i say and smile again

"Lucky you." I reply with a small smile.

"very lucky" smiles

I smile back, thinking about my night shift the next day. Normally I didn't complain if I had to work at night, but somehow this week got me off. I had been working one to many night shifts the past few weeks. But luckily I had the weekend off.

"Mom I'm going to my room, Lydia asked if I can be online on facebook" Eleni says and gets up "not too long huh" I tell her and watch her leave

"Facebook, eh?" I arche my brows after Eleni left. "I know, even people my age are on..."

"creepy huh, Eleni said that if I make an account it'll ruin her life so I'm not allowed to do that facebook stuff" laughs

"What, like you would contact her friends and stuff? Oh well... I'm not into facebook and all that stuff. All I have is an email account... and skype." I reply with a small smirk.

"I also got an email account and skype but that's pretty much it as well" I say with a smile

"Well, what do we need the rest for, right?" I smile a little.
