Curare [Everyone]

I returned the hug, glad he was here.

Thomas knew she was glad, he could feel it

"You really are the best brother in the world, you know that?" I said quietly.

"I'm just doing my best Haylen" Thomas replied

I smiled a little, then kissed his cheek like I sometimes did.
"And you're doing very good."

Thomas smiled a bit when Haylen did that, "Thanks" he replied

"You're welcome." I said to him.

Thomas smiled, then pulled back from the embrace

I looked at him and then turned to look around again.

"I'll stay the night if you want me to." Thomas replied

"That's up to you, Tom." I replied, not wanting to keep him from his family, but not wanting to be alone either.

Thomas nodded, "I'll stay" he replied gently

"I owe you one. Thanks." I replied quietly.

Thomas nodded, then sat on the couch and took his shoes off

At the same time the officer he called arrived and brought my guitar. I thanked him and smiled a little, sitting down at the edge of my bed. "Guess I have a listener tonight."

"Yes you do" Thomas replied, smiling a bit as he said that to her

I giggled a little and got my guitar out of the case, tuning it first a little.
"What do you want to hear?"

"Ladies choice" Thomas replied

"Hmm.... okay." I said thoughtfully and then started into a song I was sure he knew.

Thomas listened to her, recognizing the song, he smiled a bit as he listened, his fingers moving along with the music

I watched him a bit with a smile, actually relaxing a little more.

Thomas could tell she was relaxing, it was good to see her like that

I finished the song and actually smiled a little.

Thomas smiled back at her, "Your very talented" he said to her

"Thanks." I replied happily. "Been playing like... almost 18 years now."
