Learning about her life in California. (Mac)

I had the day off of school and I was totally bored so I asked Mac to meet me for lunch and I was now wanting to hear back from him.

I was just about to go for lunch when I got Katrina's message and smiled a little.
"When and where?" I text back.

I grinned getting the text as I finished dressing Star. You pick and when ever you get a lunch break.

I read the text and grabbed my coat.
I'll be the in 10 min, okay?

Kk Star can't wait to see ya. Sent to him and get a jacket on her and myself.

I bet. I text back and am on my way over to pick them up. I knew the little girl loved me and I could honestly say that I didn't love her less.

I laugh at the reply and smile at my little girl who was now playing with her doll.

A few minutes later I arrived at her place.

I had finished getting ready and just watching Star who hear Mac car and ran to the hose trying to open it.

I get out and knock on the door.

I helped Star open the door and watch her hug his leg.

"Hello to you too, sweetie." I greeted the little girl and then Katrina. "How're you doing?"

Star put her arms out to him wanting to be picked up.
I smile watching them then answer Mac's question. "Doing good."

I looked at Star, knowing she wanted to be picked up and then do so, gently poking her side once I got her.
I looked at Katrina and nodded. "That's what I like to hear." I said with a smile.

Star giggling at Mac poking her.
I grin. "And that why I tell you that even if its not true."

I just shake my head at her words.
"You know, mostly I know when you're lying. So I wanna believe it's true now." I reply. "And you, princess, how are you?" I asked looking at Star.

I laugh a little.
Star smiled. "Goods." Star said.

"Good to hear. So... ready to go?" I asked both of them.

Star nodded.
"Yea." I say opening the door for them.

I nodded and got out waiting for Katrina and then walked to the car.

After locking the door I followed Mac to the car.
Star laid her head on his shoulder.

I smiled a little when the little girl did it, actually a little surprised that she liked me that much, but then I also was glad she did. At the car I tuck her into her seat, that I now had for her and gently touch her cheek.
"I get the feeling you've grown again since I saw you last time." I said with a smile.

Star smiled. "Me big girl!" She grinned.
I smile hearing her.

"Yes, that you are." I replied and then closed the door to get into the car as well.
"So, any special place you wanna go?" I asked Katrina.

I shank my head at him. "Nope you can pick."
