Life is a play [everyone]

life is a play and we all play a part, but it often gets hard for the heart.

The same cinema where Stella's blood sister killed their foster dad was now about to burn down. Stella was sitting in the break room and heard it on the news. Somehow she didn't care if it burned down to the ground, there were too many memories, both good and bad, they had been good when she was little and watched movie's there, the bad memories were one year ago. She helped her sister escape from the police. She didn't regret that at all, she would do it again if she had to.

Though it bothered her a little, that place had been a part of her past, not that she had loved her past but she did love the time she had with her blood sister. She sighed heavily and watched the fire burn on the tv screen

Shannon walked into the break room after filing a report from her last case, hearing the tv, she looked up and saw the report of a movie theater burning down, "And other old building goes up in flames." she said out loud

"I think it's good, don't really like the place anyway" I tell her while I watch the flames

Shannon looked at Stella, not knowing of what happened there, "Something I said?" she asked

"No it's not you, It's just a place I went to when I was younger" I explain to Shannon

Shannon nodded, "I take it something happened to you there?" she asked

I sigh and look at Shannon "My foster dad raped my blood sister there...." I haven't told much people about it but I know I can trust Shannon

"Oh" Shannon replied, beginning to understand why Stella was not worked up about the building burning down, "Did he harm you at all?" she asked

"no luckily he didn't.. but still.. I was in the building too when he raped her, I had no idea" I explain..

Shannon walked over and stood next to Stella, gently taking her hand

If I had been the eldest of me and her I would have been me..

Shannon could see the pain in Stella's eyes, she didn't say anything, she would just stand there and try to offer comfort to her friend, "Anything I can for you?" Shannon asked gently

"No I'm fine I think I'll just go back to work, i have enough things to fill out for Mac and Sinclair" I tell my friend Shannon and get up

Shannon nodded, then stood back as Stella got up from the table, "If you need anything, let me know." she called out

"thanks Shannon" I try to smile and pull you in a hug

Shannon returned the hug, smiling a bit a same time, "Your welcome, Stella" she replied

"I was wonderin if you and your family want to come over for dinner sometime" I ask while trying to forget about the burning building

"We would love to" Shannon replied as she pulled back from her, "When would you like us to come?" she asked

"On Friday if possible, I'm off on Friday so I have enough time to prepare the dinner" I smile happily. I'm glad they want to come over

Shannon nodded, "I'll let Thomas know" she replied, smiling a bit, knowing the girls would love to see Stella again

"Thanks" I smile, I haven't seen their girls for such a long time. I can honestly say I miss em

Shannon smiled a bit, then turned and walked out of the break room, getting her phone out and calling Thomas

I smile and slowely walk to my office

Shannon talked with Thomas as she walked back to the room she shared with Lindsay, at the same time, she hoped that Stella would be okay
