Work and Making Friends [Lindsay, Shannon]

I saw even Shannon was surprised about all this.. I wondered if Danny knew this already. And so without saying anything else i walked outside again, where i knew Danny would be.

"Danny?" i called out for him, hoping he would hear me.

Danny heard Lindsay call his name and turned around to walk up to her.
"What ya got?" I asked her.

"I think Shannon and I might have found something, you'd like to see...." i said simply, hoping he would get the hint.

Danny looked at her and then nodded.
"Lead the way, Detective." he said.

and so i did! I leaded him towards the kitchen area, where Shannon still was, looking at ALL the blood, starting to process it. "this" i simply said.

"Whoa." Danny said as he saw all that blood. His frown deepened.

"That's what i thought too... What the hell happened in here?" i questioned him..

Danny looked at Lindsay, shrugging.
"One hell of a fight." he suggested.

I nodded in agreement, and then asked him another question. "And we just had one victim?"

Danny nodded and frowned.
"At least we only found one inside. But that doesn't mean anything." he said seriously.

"hmm okay.. well i suppose this is not just the blood of one victim, but we'll test it.. right Shannon?" i said, now looking at her.

"Glad I ain't gonna do that..." Danny state dryly. "But with that amount... there's more than just the poor guy inside."

"What are you thinking about?" i asked Danny when he was just staring at what we were doing. "does this remind you of something?" i asked him. While actually i also was remembered oc my past now, my friends. Everytime i was when i saw this much blood.

Danny frowned a little not really knowing what to reply. He wasn't sure if the scene reminded him of something, but he was sure that he hated to see that much blood. He didn't know about Lindsay's past, but he could sense that she was reminded of something.
"Well, haven't seen that much blood in a while. But I have the feelin' it reminds you of somethin'." he replied.

"oh okay... and no, i'm fine" i lied, pulling a smile. "we should get the swaps to the lab soon, to find out who's blood this all is..." i continued, changing the subject.

Danny noticed that Lindsay changed the topic and got the hint. Obviously she didn't want to talk about and Danny wasn't going to ask further. For this case it wasn't important so it seemed.
"Yeah, me, too... maybe we should also check the back alley and see if somethin' can be found there." Danny said, looking around.

"Nah... wouldn't wanna leave Shannon with all that blood on her own. I ain't gonna do the processin' but I'll tell ya what I find." Danny replied, glancing at Shannon with a small smile.

"Okay, sure" i said with a nod. And then joined Shannon in... well.. in all the blood.

Shannon looked back at Danny, then smiled a bit before getting back to work

Danny got to the backside of the building and started to look around. He wasn't trained to do the crime scene processing, but he could look around without destroying evidence.
