The Stakes are High [Thomas, Danny, Everyone]

Thomas stood back as Keven held her, "I'm glad your okay" Keven said to her

"Me, too..." I said quietly, as I held onto him for a bit. At the same time I sent a silent thank you to the lord above.

Keven continued to hold Haylen close to him, Thomas walked off so they could be alone

After a while I pulled away, looking at my financé with a small smile. He took my hand and lead me back to the car he and Thomas came in.

Thomas was already inside when Keven and Haylen returned

"Time to go home, I guess." I said as we got in as well.

Thomas looked at her, "I'll get your statement later" he replied

I nodded silently.
"You can have it now, if you want to." I said a few moments later.

Thomas looked at her, "You sure?" he asked gently

"Just wanna get over it." I replied confidently and smiled a little.

Thomas nodded, after getting Haylen home, he sat down with her and took her statement

I told him what happened.

I was getting to leave my appartment when I heard a knock on the door and went to open it. Three guys made their way into the hallway, trying to grab me and I fought back. Wanting to escape through the bedroom they overwhelmed me, drugged me and got me to my prison.

Thomas nodded as he wrote that down

"But trust me, they cursed me more than once... as you may tell." I said, with a little pride in my tone, Keven smiled at that.

Thomas smiled as well when Haylen said that to her, "Anything else?" he asked

I thought for a moment and then shook my head.
"Just wanna kick that guys ass who dared to touch me." I then said with a small smirk.

Thomas nodded, Keven looked at her, "He didn't hurt you did he?" he asked

I looked at Keven and shook my head.
"Not really. At least not in that room, the kidnapping is a different story." I replied.

Keven relaxed a bit, then sat next to her and took her hand, he felt ashamed that he was not there to protect her

I knew that quite well and so I gave him a small smile. I wasn't that kind of woman who couldn't fend for herself, but I knew that Keven was a protective kind of man and in a good way.
"Don't even think it was your fault." I told him gently.

Keven nodded, then put his arm around Haylen, Thomas watched them, then stood up, "I'll leave you two be." he said to them

I nodded and smiled at him.
"Thank you." I offered.

Thomas nodded, as did Keven, Thomas then walked out of the apartment

Inside Keven and I spent some much needed quiet and quality time, unwinding while he told me about the day and I later revealed another surprising detail about my free time activities: singing and playing th guitar.
