Picnic in Central Park [Katrina, Stella, Anyone]

Eleni giggles and claps her hands

"Good girl." I said to Eleni.

I smile and look at Stella. "So how have you been?"

very good, my boss here let me have some days off last week. I'm feeling perfect after catching some sleep.

I smiled and nod

I hope Eleni will sleep thru the night soon

"She's still not sleeping through?" I ask in wonder, looking down at my little girl.

"No she's not, she's screaming her lungs out in the middle of the night. She says something is walking in her room." I frown and look down on Eleni as well

I look at the little girl.

I sigh. I did this when I was at her age, but only when my dad wouldn't be home and I now do wonder if that had the same reason.
"Despite her night light..." I dare to wonder.

I sigh.
"That's not nice, Eleni..." I said tenderly, not daring to look at Stella.

I watch them and can tell something is bugging Mac.

"Any idea's?" I dare to ask him, knowing he's the father and he might recognize this

I look up at Stella and am not sure if I should say what is on my mind.
"I was like that when my dad wasn't home." I finally say in a quiet tone.

"And how long did you keep that habit to wake up at night? I hope not till you were 12. There is no way I'll make without throwing myself off a building"

I shrugged.
"I don't know. I just remember that my mom told me I had that habbit for some time, though I don't remember when that stopped."

"I got to give her a call then" I tell him with a smile "maybe she knows how to fix it"

"She'll tell ya to get the kid's dad back to stay with you two... I said and quickly added "I suppose."

I watch the two and get it Mac's the little girls daddy.

"There is the problem...." I frown, lean down to kiss the little girls cheek

I sigh and say nothing.

"oh well we can always have someone sleep in the spare room"

I look up at her with a puzzled look.

"She knows you quite long, maybe if you come over she'll sleep"
