"Get a grip Mac and start analyzing the evidence you have..." I muttered to myself as I turned to start with the victims clothing that just arrived, not noticing that I already had company.

Thomas had walked in when Mac said that, "Something wrong?" he asked

"I just looked at the crime scene photos and... I might be paranoid, but I just feel like something doesn't add up, but I couldn't figure out what." I said honestly as I start with the victims clothing.

Thomas nodded, "What do you think it is?" he asked as he gloved up to help Mac

"If only I knew.... maybe I'm just paraniod." I said and then looked at the white cowl of the victim which had a black cross on it.
"Seems like he was part of the order, though... I wonder why he was killed."

Thomas nodded as he looked over the priest's clothing, "Aye" he replied

I analyzed the clothing and found a hair.
"Hello..." I said, noticing that we might get DNA from it, that could lead to the killer as the hair color and lenght didn't match the victim's.

"What is it?" Thomas asked as he looked up, seeing the hair Mac found, "To long to be Fr. Gilles's hair." he said

"That and it's not his hair color." I said as I busied myself with extracting the DNA. "But we get some DNA from it."

Thomas nodded, then ran the hair for DNA, hoping they found something

I wasn't really expecting to find something on the DNA so I was surprised when the computer came up with a match. "Who's the hairs owner?"

Thomas looked at the screen, "A Mary Walker" he replied

"You sayin' a woman killed him? Or did he have secrets?" I thought loudly.

"She could have witnessed Fr. Giles's death." Thomas replied

"Maybe, but then she might be in danger as well." I said seriously.

Thomas nodded, little did they know, she was, "I'll get an APB out on her" Thomas said to Mac

I nodded and got back and analyzed the rest of the victims clothing, finding some fibres on it, but nothing more, though the the Profession Cross every brother of the order wore was missing.
"His Profession Cross is missing." I said.

Thomas looked at Mac when he said that, "The killer had to have taken it" he said in reply

Thomas nodded, then looked at the paper that was in the priest's pants pocket

"What did you find?" I asked as I eye the paper.

Thomas looked up at Mac, "Its part of the scroll that detailed the plain to split the Teutonic Knights." he replied, showing it to Mac

Now I was confused.
"Okay... so... this definietly has to do with that, it seems, but how did it end up in his pocket?"

Thomas thought, but was stumped, "I'm not sure" he replied, meanwhile, Mary Walker was being held by Fr. Giles's killer, a look of fear in her eyes

"I think that maybe the killer placed it there, or the priest found out about the scroll and he shouldn't have." I thought loud.
