No more Hinding. (Mac/Kelly's)

"whatch ya say?" Star asked looking at him.

Thomas got down on Star's level, "I was saying that you remind me of my daughter Erin."

Star smiled. "That good?"

Thomas smiled, "Indeed it is" he replied

"I doubt she's going to drink alcohol... how about sparkling wine for kids? Think she likes that?" I ask Katrina.

Thomas winked at Star then stood up, holding her close to him

"yep." Katrina said.
Star smiled.

Thomas smiled back at the little girl

"Okay, then lets get some of that and then see what else we need." I said to Katrina, walking to the section where drinks were sold.

the cake was soon finished, Thomas and Shannon let Star see it

Katrina followed Mac and got a few things.
"Whats ow?" Star asked

"What do you meen?" Shannon asked

"What we do ow." Star said trying to say now.

Shannon knew what she ment, "Well, we wait for your mommy and Uncle Mac to return." she replied

Star nodded.

Katrina got a few other little things Star liked.

Thomas and Shannon walked over and stood near the checkout lanes with Star

After a while getting all the things we need I look over them and then at Katrina.
"Think we got everything?"

Katrina bit her lip a little and looked at Mac. "Yea I think."
Star looked around.

Shannon looked at Star, "What do you see?" she asked

"Right, then let's not let them wait too long." I said and made my move to walk to the exit where the cashiers were and where I know Shannon and Thomas were waiting with Star.

Thomas looked over and saw Mac and Katrina

Star smiled big. "Mommy!"
Katrina followed and smiled back at Star.

Thomas and Shannon both smiled, "Go to her sweetie" Shannon said to Star

I stay a little behind, watching Star running to Katrina after she was allowed to. I couldn't help but smile. How could I be mad at Katrina? What I saw this evening got my heart and mind settled more than anyone may know.

Shannon smiled as she watched Star run to her mom, at the same time, Thomas took her hand
