Life is a play [everyone]

Shannon sat at her desk and finished up her report from her last case, thinking about Stella at the same time while filing out the forms that were in front of her

I just write some reports and read some files. Just a paperwork day..

an hour later, Shannon was done, looking at the clock, she saw that her shift was up, Shannon sighed, then stood and walked to the locker room

Stella's shift had ended as well and walked to the locker room to grab her things.

Shannon was already at her locker, tomorrow was her normal day off and she was looking forward to it

"hey" i greet her when I join her in the locker room

"Hey Stella" Shannon replied, smiling a bit, "Everything okay from before?" she asked

"Yes I'm feeling alright now I know the building burned down to the ground"

Shannon nodded, she was glad that her friend could put the pain behind her and begin to move on, "Its going to be okay Stella" she said to her

"I'm sure it will be ok, it's the past, I moved on anyway" I tell Shannon and open my locker

Shannon nodded again as she got a few things from her locker, "I talked with Thomas, he's up for having you over." she told Stella

"having me over? I want you guys to come to me" I smile and grab my coat

"Oh" Shannon replied, "My mistake, I seem to have misheard what you said." she added, smiling a bit, "I feel silly now"

"Don't be, it happens to all of us" I smile and close my locker

Shannon smiled, "I'll call Thomas back and let him know." she replied as she stood up from the bench

"Alright" I smile and put on my coat

Shannon smiled back, then called Thomas again, talking with him for a few minutes

I sit down on the bench and wait

after finishing her call, Shannon looked at Stella, "He's up for it, as are the girls" she added

At the same time as Shannon said that I entered the room, finishing my day for today and am surprised to see Shannon and Stella still here. I greet both of them with small smile.
I was glad that Stella and the Kelly's got along so well, though it wasn't hard to warm up to them.

"That's great! I'll make something special for you all" I smile and turn to the door when I hear someone enter the locker room. "hey" I say to Mac and turn back to Shannon

"Hey, Stella. Shannon." I greet them and walk up to my locker, getting my things.

I turn to Mac and sigh "Is there any way we can complain about the new rules Sinclair shove into our throats?" This morning I found a way too long list on my desk about the new lab rules.. hate em already

Shannon smiled, then headed out of the lab and back home

I turn around and look at Stella, a mixture of surprise and amusement in my expression.
"Go and tell him?" I siggest with a smirk.
