Promotion [Stella, Lindsay, Mac, everybody else]

Finally, Haylen... I thought as I stood on the small stage along with the 10 other police officers who did this Training. Mac had suggested that I'd do this training next to my work at the lab, so I could become a detective like all the other CSIs and join them in their field work.
And now, after months of hard work and learning a lot of new things, getting the permition to wear a gun and a badge I was standing here, waiting to get my promotion and the congratualions of everyone else and also to finally reach my goal.
I had been working for this for so long and with much determination and finally my dream was coming true. Thanks to Mac and everyone who supported me. This is where I want to be, what I want to do.

The ceremony last only a few minutes and we were released to meet our friends and family and everyone who was waiting to show their admiration and appreciation to us. I walk over to the small group of my co-workers, a satisfied and happy smile on my face.

You're Detective Haylen Becall now. I thought happily.

It was Kayla first day she read an email about this and thought she come along to congratulate Haylen on becoming Det. It was her first day so she didnt know anybody apart from Mac. she stood there and smiled

Shannon and Thomas were there, both dressed in their class A uniforms, Shannon was the most happy for Haylen, from were she sat, she saw Haylen in the front row of her platoon, Shannon could not help but smile

Of course it was me who had to be there and welcome a new Detective to our CSI team. I had seen Shannon and Thomas and also Kayla, our new team member, but it was me who was the first to shake Haylen's hand and congratulate her to her hard work and finish this training being one of the best.
"Well done. Congratulations Haylen." I said, as I shake her hand.

"Congratulations Haylen" I smile and give her a hug "welcome to our team"

"Thanks Mac." I say and then turn to Stella, who gives me hug and a smile.
"Thanks. I'm glad I got this opportunity."
I look around to see who else was here and saw Shannon, Thomas and someone I haven't seen yet, but instantly knew that she must be the new Detective. So I walk over to greet her.
"Hi. You must be Detective Marshell. Haylen Becall." I greet her and offer my hand.

Kayla smiled "Nice to meet you" She smiled "Congratulations" She grinned

Thomas and Shannon walked up to Haylen to congratulate her, "Congrats Haylen" Shannon said to her, Thomas nodded, "Congratulations lass" he added

"Thanks everyone. And thank you for all your support." I smile happily.
"I guess I am where I wanted to be."

Thomas nodded, "Your welcome lass" he replied, Shannon hugged her, "Your apart of the family, Haylen." she said

"Thanks. I'm greatful to be, guess I couldn't have better friends." I smile at them.

Shannon pulled back from the embrace, Thomas took her hand, "Your most welcome" Shannon replied

Kayla smiled at Haylen "And i be looking forward to working with all of you"

"Agreed" Thomas and Shannon replied in unison

"Thank you guys. I'm nervous now about my first day, but I know I'll have great people to work with." I smiled.

Lindsay and I were there too. Both also wearing the NYPD uniforms, as all these person who work with NYPD and who were there. I looked Lindsay and smiled before to said to her. "Lets congrats our new co-worker"

Thomas nodded, as did Shannon, "First round is on us" Shannon said to them

I gave Thomas and Shannon a nod and then saw Danny and Lindsay making their way over, so I waited till they reached me and gave them both a small, but happy smile.
"Thanks for coming." I told them.

Shannon nodded back, then went with Thomas to get the drinks, "So Haylen, whats it like to be a detective?" Sara asked

"Well for now it's just a great feeling to be where I wanted to be. I'm a bit nervous about my very first case and when I have to do that all on my own. Still a lot to learn." I said to Sara.

Sara nodded and smiled, "I'm sure you will do great" she replied

"Thanks, sweetie." I said and gave her a hug.

"Your welcome" Sara replied, returning the hug as Thomas and Shannon came back

I walked with Lindsay till where Haylen and the others where. And when I was on their heigh I said "So now we must call you Detective" with an happy voice and a smile "Congrats Haylen"
