New York Zoo [Danny,Lindsay]

I cried and tried to free myself out of the doc's tight hold which was also hurting my arm even more.

I was now really fighting hard not to just grab her from that stupid stretcher and hold her in my arms, comforting her. I was about to walk towards her when Danny held his arm out in front of me, stopping me. I looked at him and nodded, and took a step backwards again.

"It's okay sweetie, just let the doctor smudge this cream over your arm and you'll be fine" I said letting my voice trailing of. The docter looked at me for a second and nodded, then he smudged the ointment and let Lucy go, so did the nurse.

I hold in a breath as they let me go. I turned to my head to mummy and whimpered mommy?!?!

Lucy asked for me again and Danny withdraw his arm and i made my way - well rushed - over to Lucy and took her in my arms.
I held her agaist my chest and stroked her hair while saying soft words to comfort her. I bounched her a little when Danny made his way over to the doctor to get the recipy.

I sobbed and cuddled back into my mummy's arms..scratching my splint against her neck.

I listened and followed the doctor to get the medication he was a buy. Then after a moment I returned to the two women in my life, drugs in hand. Lucy stopped crying almost, but I doubt that she had had to be wrong. I look at Lindsay, she, by cons still seems affected by this event, thinking it was her fault, and that it still has the. I decided to wait another moment to talk about it.

So little Lucy, feeling better?

It still hurts daddy! I sobbed and hiccuped at the same time.

I still carried Lucy in my arms while her Daddy asked if she was okay.
She told him it still hurted, wich i understood. She was so young.
We thanked the doctor for is help and he told us it was great that we had come, like he was comforting me. It seems like i showed it clear that i was affected.
We finally made our way out of the hospital and i let out a BIG sigh when we reached the car. I settled Lucy in her car seat as good as i could without hurting her. She of course sobbed when i did so, but when she was finally in there and i sat too i asked Danny,

"Shall we go to the Pharmacy now? And give them the recipy, so we have it soon? I mean we're late for the Zoo already"

Again in the car, I left Lucy tied her seat, then looks back at us for sitting on her turn. Then she asks me this question and I answered.

Yes we will do that, I already buy drugs, we can go to the zoo now

I just simply smile and nodded. I look at Lucy who was sitting in the backseat. A bit playing with her splint.

"You're ready to go Lucy-Luce?" I asked with an excited voice, hopeing that it would cheer her up a bit.

I looked up to find mummy looking at me. My face was covered in red marks and tears were still running down my cuppy cheeks.
where would we go?I said and hiccuped at the same time.

I have it hard not just break out in tears just there.. It so sad to see Lucy now..

"To the Zoo!" I said with the happiest voice i could make.

I glanced over to Danny and gave him a sign that he could start driving. I looked at the backseat again. Finding lucy looking at her arm..

"So Lucy, what's your favorite animal?" I asked. Hoping to distract her a bit.

I feel Lindsay's hand on my shoulder, she beckoned one can go. I then started the car and starts to move forward with a smile when I heard Lindsay was asked to Lucy what his favorite animal

Okay let's go to the zoo

I don't know...
I answered sadly and continued playing with my splint.

I sigh as i hear her reply. It really does break my heart to see her like this.

"It's gonna be just fine Lucy" I tell her.

I listened to both, while driving towards the zoo. And I felt the eyes of Lindsay, so I turn my head towards her and sees how much she still thinks it was because of her, and she is also sad. I put my hand on her thigh and looks while driving.

I share a look with Danny, it was probably really obvious that i was sad about what happened. He comforted me by laying his hand on my thigh. I smile at him, it does help. It comforts me a bit. I close my eyes and release a BIG sigh...
after that i looked out of the window... thinking... hoping Lucy would cheer up in the Zoo!

I looked for a moment, then road, then, and when I see her smile, I know it does to persuade me she is fine, but did not. I looked again, and said softly

Are you okay ?

I turned my head to Danny when he asked me if i was okaai. I smiled again and nodded.

"Yeah i'm fine" I said. Peeking ovr my shoulder to Lucy, who was still playing with her splint. It really did bother her... Maybe we should take it off? No lindsay.. wait untill you guys are in the zoo.. she is gonna be distracted by all the animals and she is gonna be just fine! ust relax, Danny is there also you don't need to do this on your own. Chill Lindsay.. Chill..

I do not think, but I'll do just the same when it comes time at the zoo, and we can talk ..

She smiled at me and say its okay, I smile to my turn and look the mirror by Lucy

After 20 mintues we arrived at the zoo. My parents got out and both walked over to help me to get out of the car.
Are we there?

20 minutes later we arrived at the zoo. Danny and I got out of the car. I opened the passenger door and 'unzipped' Lucy's seatbelt.

"Yeah we're there!" i said as excited as i could. I wan't hoping that my worrying was brought to much into it.

I dragged Lucy out of her car seat and balanced her on my hip. I gave the door a swing to close it, and looked at Danny, who could now press the button on the car keys, to close all the doors.

My arm was still stinging a bit and winced as my mum put me in her arms. But she realised it and was careful not to shake me too much. I relaxed and leaned my forehead against her shoulder.

Lucy first winced when i lifted her in my arms. But later she gave in and lay her little forehear against my shoulder. Carefully i made my way to Danny, to the check in. Danny was already standing in the queue, so i made my way over to him. I saw his eyes, he worried about us. I gave him a weak smile, just to show that Lucy was just fine.

I then shut the car while Lindsay had Lucy I went to queue for tickets. Then I see her return to join me in the queue. I look at her and see me smile. But it is rather an unintentional smile.

All is okay?
