A Meet [Lindsay.C]

Reed had a day off and he was walking through when he accidently bumped into someone and he said sorry right off the bat to her.
He weakly smiled at her then said " Sorry for bumping into you."

What happens?

Lindsay looked up,startled from looking at a text on her phone."Sorry!"the apology was automatic.She glanced shyly at the kid and smilied slightly."Uhhh....hi?"How did it seem that this kid was so familiar to her from somewhere?

Reed nodded then sighed as he thought of trying to find his mother

Lindsay looked over the kid again."Taylor!"she suddenly exclaimed,her eyes flying wide at the resemblence."That's who you remind me of!"she told him,glancing around she realized how weird she must sound."Maybe I should introduce myself."she told him."Detective Lindsay Cardoza,I'm with the New York City Crime Lab."she told him."Ballistics expert."

Reed nodded then said " Mac's my stepdad as his iwfe Claire Conrad is my mother and I've never met her. I'm Reed Garret by the way."

Lindsay nodded."Do you know Mac?"Lindsay's curiousty was to much not to ask.She glance over at him,something told her that their relationship wasn't that great as Mac had never mentioned Reed to her,but then again,she had only known him for two or three years and he wasn't one to tell you his life story that easily.

Reed replied " Yeah but not that well"

Lindsay nodded,"He's a tough one to start a conversation with."she admitted.

" Yeah he is." Reed said

"You kinda get to know him pretty well when you work with him 24/7!"Lindsay admitted with a slight laugh at the thought.She worked with him everyday and yet it took her a moment to slow down and admit and recognize the details.

" Yeah and haven't had much contact with him." Reed said
