First Mass. (Kelly's/anyone)

Thomas and his family listened, most of the mass was in Latin

I had no idea what why were saying.

Sara helped her out

I nodded listening to Sara.

as he listened, Thomas leaned over and looked at Sara and Katrina, smiling a bit as he watched Sara help Katrina

I was talking with the girl I knew mostly joking, I almost choked at something she said.

Thomas looked over at Katrina at the same time

I face was red and I glanced at Thomas.

Thomas looked back to the front of the church, the bishop started his homily, which was about why people should not give up on their faith despite the hard times the church has fallen on

I groaned a little louder then I meant to.

a few people, including Shannon, looked over at Katrina when she did that

I shook my head listening, when Beth beside me snickered.

Shannon sighed a bit, a little upset with Katrina

I heard her and glance over, and rolled her eyes a bit. She didn't mean to upset anyone, but she just wasn't into this.

Thomas and Shannon continued to listen to the Bishop, he soon made a comment about how all people are welcome regardless of the life they live

That made me sigh a bit again and look down.

the bishop soon finished, he walked back to his chair and sat down

I looked at him.

it was soon time for communion

I had no idea what was happening.

after the prayers, Thomas and his family walked up to the front with the rest of the congregation

Beth and I stayed right where we were.

Thomas and Shannon took their turns, then walked back to the pew
