Meeting Auntie Stella [Stella]

I looked at Stella and nodded. "Would love that."

"Let's see what he's doing" I say smiling and walk towards his office

I smiled brightly and followed her, the visitor tag bouncing from the collar of my school jacket.

I knock on Mac's door before opening it

I see uncle Mac looking up at us with a smile and waves us in.

We walk into his office "busy?" I ask and he shakes his head no

I smiled looking at him. "Hello, Detective." I said, smiling a bit.

"Hello Lilyana" he smiled at her

I looked around the office, spotting some military pictures on the wall and looked back at Mac.

Mac smiles and explains when they were taken

I listened to him, learning a bit from that military stuff. Not even uncle Thomas talked much about it, but then I didn't really ask him. Peter, my real father, said what he experienced then was nothing a little girl should hear.
"You're the only one really talking about that, uncle Mac." I said.

"I find it important that every knows about it" Mac tells her

"My father always said what he saw and experienced when he was in Iraq or anywhere else is something a little girl shouldn't know about." I told him, not saying that I didn't like the military that much.

"I didn't tell you any details, I told you the things you will learn on school too" He says

I nodded and smiled a little. "Those photos are cool." I said.

"Thanks" He says and smiles at the little girl in his office

"Welcome." I say and glance out of the window.

"Shall we go find your mom?" Looks at the clock "He shift has ended two minutes ago"

I looked at my watch as well and then nod, walking over to auntie Stella. "Bye uncle Mac." I said. "Bye Lilyana."

I smile and walk with Lilyana to Haylen

My momma is sitting at her desk, finishing a call when we walked in. She smiled at us.
"Having fun, sweetie?" she asked me and I nodded.
"Thanks for giving her a tour, Stella." ma said to Stella.

"She was a very good girl" I tell haylen with a smile

Ma smiled at Stella and me. "Well, that she mostly is and I'm glad she is." my momma said to auntie Stella and I blushed a little.

"Well I'm going home, has been a long day" I say smiling and wave bye "See you around kiddo"

"Yep. Bye auntie Stella." I said, smiling. My mom gets up as well.
