Wedding [Everyone]

I smiled while we danced to the song, now having enough practice to not fall over my dress.

Keven smiled at Haylen as he held her

Meanwhile Lilyana walked back up to Thomas and his family, watching us with a smile.
"Ma looks so beautiful today." she said, smiling.

Thomas nodded, "Aye, she does" he replied

Lily smiled and stiffled a yawn, as a song ended.

Erin looked over at Lily and giggled

Lily gave her a playful glare then giggled as well.
"Tired, sweetie?" I asked my daughter as we walked up to them. She nodded a little.

Thomas watched the two as he stood with Shannon

I smiled at Lily and gently touched her cheek.

Lily smiled when Haylen did that, Shannon smiled at her

Keven smiled at us as well.
Though it's been only a few months since I... well we, adopted her, I already was as close as I could be. I loved her like I'd love my own children.

a while later.....

The last of the guests were gone and me and Lily had a hard time staying up. It was just the family left.

Keven saw that they were tired, "Ready to go?" he asked Haylen

Lily and I nodded.

Thomas and Shannon stood up from the table, Erin, Colleen and Bridgett were sleepy as well, Keven nodded, then stood and took Haylen's hand

I smiled and got up as well, as did Lily.

Thomas led the group outside

Outside we walked to the cars. It was a quite cool night.

Keven and Thomas put their jackets around the shoulders of their respective wives

I smiled at that.

"Still am thinking this is a dream, sometimes." I said quietly.

Keven smiled a bit, then reached under the jacket and gently ran his hand down Haylen's arm

I looked at him, smiling happily.
