Birthday Surprise [Stella/Eleni]

"Of course I am." I reply and smile. Actually I was everything turned out so well.

"That's great because I don't think your daughter would want to eat anything else tonight" I say and smile

I nod. "You know I love Greek, right?" I assured them.

"That's because I'm partly Greek dad" Eleni jokes

"Partly." I reply. "But I love it, too, and I am not Greek, not even a tiny little bit. Sadly, maybe."

"you are Greek to us Mac" I smile and eat my pie

I look at her and smirk and continue with my pie as well.

I take a sip of my 'Greek' coffee and smile

"Well, at least some of the language, thanks to you." I say to Stella and smile a little.

"You need to know a couple things if your daughter knows Greek too huh" I smile and look at Eleni who's busy texting to her friends

I smirk a little as I watch my daughter. My daughter... such a nice thought.
I look at Stella and nod in agreement and take a sip of the coffee.
"I still like your coffee."

"I'm glad about that" I tell him and eat the last bit of my pie

I smile and do the same.

"Mom can dad and I bake those cookies you were talking about yesterday? if he wants to" Eleni asks when she puts away her phone. "Tomorrow my friends are coming over remember mom"

I look at Stella, waiting for what she was going to reply.

"Only if your dad wants to, otherwise you use the ones in the cupboard." I tell her and look at Mac

"I don't mind to spend some time with my daughter and best friend." I reply.

"Let's bake the cookies then" Eleni says and gets up "Sweetie I'd like to finish my coffee first" I tell her and she nods "I'm just going to grab the things we need"

I watch her leave and smile. "She definitely gets your enthusiasm." I say warmly.

"You're probably right about that, but she got so many things from you, it's almost scary" I smile and sit down next to you on the couch

"Yeah, she's got my frown." I reply with a small frown.

"That's for sure" I say with a smile

I look at you and smile.

"Do you really want to bake cookies?" I ask with a smile

"Sure. I think it's fun and I have time for you and Eleni today. Lots of time." I reply and give you an assuring smile.
