"She'll be fine." I said in a comforting tone, knowing that I couldn't promise it, but since the thief's sister wanted something from Shannon, she wouldn't kill Erin.

Shannon nodded, "I know" she replied, the elevator soon stopped, as soon as the doors opened, Shannon walked out and over to the first SUV that was open

Danny had been assinged to join the group of officer Mac had called for backup. they were already near the warehouse at Manhattan Beach waiting for Shannon and Mac to arrive. From the details Danny knew that they came to rescue Erin Kelly from the hands of a kidnapper who tried to blackmail Shannon.
The fact that a woman kidnapped the young girl got him angry, but he knew he had to keep it inside.

When they got closer to the location, Shannon killed the siren, she ended up parking the car a block away from the warehouse, after parking, she got out of the suv and got her gun out and ready

I did the same thing and then met up with Danny and the rest of the back up team to tell them what was going on.

Shannon looked at the rest of the back up, then nodded, "Lets go" she said to them

When everything was arranged as best as possible Danny and the rest of them followed Shannon to the warehouse. As they got close Danny mentioned to Shannon that he, his partner Jackie Curatola and a few other men were going to round the building and enter from the backside.

Shannon nodded, "Okay, watch your background" she said to them, the men with Danny nodded in reply

Danny nodded as well. As soon as they got to the back they radiod to Mac and Shannon that they were ready for the job.
Inside Danny sent a silent prayer to the lord to keep Erin save and make their job successful.

inside, Shauna was unaware that the police were closing in on her

Danny and the men with him waited for the sign to storm the building.

Shannon looked into a small window and saw Erin, she held her anger back, then looked at Mac

At the back side of the warehouse Danny was looking into another window, not seeing Erin, but he saw Shauna pacing back at forth then stopping, saying something.

"Ready" Shannon replied, inside, Erin was whimpering, "SHUT UP YOU LITTLE RUNT!" Shauna screamed at her

I nodded and gave the signal to get started, letting a some SWAT people run into the building before I let Shannon follow them and was almost the last to enter.
Surprised by the 'attack' Shauna didn't move.

"NYPD STEP AWAY FROM HER RIGHT NOW!" Shannon screamed, a 'give me a good reason to pull this trigger' look in her eyes, wisely, Shauna put her gun down, Shannon walked over to handcuff her, before she could, Shauna tried to fight back, but Shannon managed to over power her and slam her onto the wall, then handcuff her, "OW YOU BITCH!" Shauna screamed, Shannon kneed her in the side, "Shut up, you put my child in harms way so you have no right in complaining." she hissed

While Shannon got Shauna cuffed I made my way to Erin, freeing her of her ties.
"Are you okay?" I asked her, once she was free and watched as Danny took Shauna from Shannon, an angry look on his face as well.

Erin looked at Mac, then nodded, tears still falling across her face, Shannon walked over and picked her up, "Do sábháilte sweetie anois" (your safe now sweetie) she said to her daughter in Irish

I watched them with a small smile, staying with them, till they were ready to leave. I felt with Erin at that time, seeing her like this, almost broke my heard, as she was an adoring girl.
