Irish dance (Haylen)

"Very good Erin" the teacher said to Erin after she did a few moves, Shannon smiled from were she was sitting, she was happy for Erin, she had been in a few competitions already and did very well, Shannon continued to watch, not seeing who walked over and joined her

I walked into the room, seeing Shannon sitting on a bench, watching her daughter Erin and smile. I walked over to her and sat down. I promised Erin that, if I had a day off or was nearby that I would stop by and watch her lesson in Irish dance. I smiled as I watched the young girl doing her moves and noticed the joy on her face.
"Hey. Sorry, am a little late." I said to Shannon, quietly not to startle her.

Shannon looked over at Haylen, "Its okay" she replied, "You haven't missed much" she replied, smiling a bit before looking back at Erin

I nodded and smiled.
"She's really enjoying this." I said, as I watched Erin.

"Indeed she is" Shannon replied as the class continued, "Apart from this, Erin is also in gymnastics, as were Colleen and Sara." she added

"I guess that helps with dancing. She's pretty good." I said with admiration in my voice.

Shannon nodded, "Thanks Haylen" she replied

"Welcome." I said and watched the groub doing their training.

Shannon continued to watch, she was proud of Erin, "Erin's goal is to go to Dublin when she is older." she said to Haylen

"That's quite a plan and I'm sure she'll get to it." I replied with a soft smile. "She's got a lot from her parents."

Shannon smiled a bit as well, then nodded, "Aye, she does" she replied, "Although, she is not the outdoors type." Shannon added

"Obviously not, but very determined and eager." I said warmly.

"Aye" Shannon replied, smiling at the same time

I watched Erin and the group a little longer, thinking about how I was at her age.

Shannon watched as well, continuing to smile as she watched her daughter, a while later, class was over

After the class was over I waited for Erin to get changed and join us.

Erin changed, then walked out to join her mom, a smile came to her face when she saw Haylen, "Aunt Haylen" she said while walking up to her

"Hey sweetie." I greeted Erin with a hug like I always did. "You were great."

Shannon smiled at Erin, Erin giggled a bit, "Thank you" she said to Haylen while hugging her

"You're welcome." I said and smiled at her. [b]"It was fun to watch."

Erin smiled wide, "We haves a show coming up" she said

"Really? Well, I think I gotta come and see you then." I say somewhat serious.

Erin giggled in reply, Shannon smiled, then headed to the door, Erin followed

"So, any plans for today?" I asked them both as we were outside.

"Not at the moment" Shannon replied as Erin walked next to her
