The officers finally walked back to their car and drove away. Danny turned to look at Katrina.
"Your cousin?" he asked a little interested now.

"Yea my cousin." I smirk. "You know everyone has cousins."

"Yeah, I got it." Danny said with a small smirk.

I smirk back. "So what you like some chilled out cop or somethin'?"

"Actually am just Detective Reagan." Danny said, his tone a little lighter.

My eyes widen. "You work for Mac Taylor?" I ask.

"No I don't work for Mac Taylor, but he basically works for my father." Danny said. He knew Mac Taylor, because he was an acquaintance of his father.

"Oh......Ok then." I say looking around.

"That Mac's your cousin?" Danny asked, a little curious.

I nod. "yeah." I look away

"Bet it's not easy being his cousin." Danny said, having heard only a few things about Detective Mac Taylor and from what he heard he was a great detective, but also a very private man.

I nod. "He's a great man thought."

"Heard that 'bout him. Seems he's one of the best Detectives." Danny said casually.

That makes me smile I know he's a great man but also a great Detective. "yes he is."

Danny smiled a bit at the young woman in front of him.
"So, you goin' to be okay?"

"As long as Mac don't hear about this he don't like me drinking." I say hoping he can keep his mouth shut.

"I'm like a sealed book." Danny said firmly. Why should he tell anyone?

"Killer!" I say then think. "Wrong words sorry."

"Huh?" Danny asked a little confused now.

I nod. "yea and it don't help that I'm buzzing and need to get home."

"I'm livin' down the street. Wanna have a ride a home?" Danny asked her, knowing that his wife probably wouldn't mind.

I look at him and nod. "yea sure."

"Alright, then... ready when you are." Danny said, texting his wife a short message so she knew what was going on and only a few seconds later he got an okay as a reply.
