Meeting the Commissioner [Everyone]

"You just got a lucky day, Stella. He's rarely out with me in privat, just like that." Danny said to Stella.

"Oh I'm very lucky indeed!" I grin and look at all the men around me XD

"I always said you were." I commented with a small smile. "I bet some women were jealous if they saw you now."

"ohhh many women will be jealous" I grin

"Bet they are, but I'm too married." Danny said firmly. He was a loyal man, would never betray his wife.

"I know, your wife is very lucky!!"

"Thanks." Danny said with a small smile. "I wasn't always that easy and it still ain't easy at times."

"oh well you can handle it" I say with a smile

"I can, but she's gotta get through more than just that." Danny replied.
"But she always believes in you, son. You've proven that you're not looking back." his father said.

I smile at the two talking men and look at Mac "hows the case?"

"Finally wrapped up." I say in relief and let out a small sigh.

"I'm glad to hear that, It took a way too long" I say with a smile

"Oh yes it did. What about yours?" I ask her.

"Closed it this morning, luckily" I tell him with a smile

Danny and his father were listening to the two of them talking.

around the same time, Shannon and Thomas arrived, seeing Stella, Danny and the commissioner, they walked over to them, "Forgive us for being late, we got stuck in traffic." Shannon said to them

Danny and his father looked at Thomas and Shannon with a small smile.
"Well, the night just has started." Danny commented.
"I'm glad you could make it." Frank Reagan added.

Shannon and Thomas both nodded, "I take it we didn't miss much?" Thomas asked

"Nah, we were just makin' a little small talk." Danny said as his father mentioned to the waitress to come to their table. "Talkin' 'bout family and stuff. How're the kids?" Danny asked as he watched the waitress coming to their table.

Thomas nodded, "They are well" Shannon replied, "Sara met with some of her future professors today." she added

"Big day for her, eh? I bet she'll be one of the best when she's done." Danny said with admiration, knowing the eagerness of the oldest Kelly daughter. Frank, knowing Sara from a meeting in his office one day, nodded in agreement. "I'll be happy to welcome her to the group of my officers." Frank said, with the same admiring tone and a hint of pride in his voice.

Thomas and Shannon nodded, "Sara can't wait to join the department, sir." Thomas replied, he then got a drink for himself and Shannon, who nodded in agreement to Thomas's statement

"I'm always honored to hear such sentiments. Thinking about her parents I believe she's going to be just as committed as you both are. I wish her the best." Frank Reagan said with a smile.
"Criminals better watch out." Danny smirked.

Shannon and Thomas both smiled in reply to those comments, "Thank you sir" Shannon added, taking Thomas's hand at the same time

The commissioner gave them a smile.
"Did I ever mention that Nikki, my niece, wants to go on with our family tradion as well?" Danny piped up again.
