Blazing lights [Mac]

"Well, wouldn't be as nice without you here." I admit and look up at her.
She's done a good job lately in reading my thoughts and I knew that with the time she would be able to read just everything going on in my mind, a thought that is scaring on the one hand and comforting on the other.

"That's sweet of you, I really am glad you came, you're such a nice company" I smile and yet again wondering what he's thinking right now. I really hope the day will come soon that I'm able to read his mind without trouble

"That's me." I say and chuckle. "Besides I can say the same about you. Never met someone like you, before." I told her and smiled.
And I wasn't even lying. Even with Claire it wasn't the same. Sorry, Claire... I thought a bit sad, but quickly push that thought away.

"I like that, I feel honored to be sort of umm special to you" I give you a warm smile

"Well, I guess you deserve it." I say and smile warmly.

"Maybe" I reply and smile at you "I'm so glad i've a nice boss and partner at the same time"

I just look at you and smile. Sure you deserve a good friend. I think but say nothing. What could I say?

"you want me to start with our dinner?" I ask with a smile

"You really don't need any help?" I ask again, just to be sure.

"I can handle it, you can just relax Mac" I smile and get up "make yourself feel like home" I smile again

"Okay." I reply and watch her leave. Make myself feel like home?
Okay, how about looking around a little closer? I get up and wander through the living room, looking at pictures and books, or magazines or whatever I was able to look at.

I walk into the kitchen and start with our meal, it shouldn't take too long before its finished. After a bit my mind start to wonder what Mac is doing in the living room

And your precious Mr. Taylor is just looking a few photos on the wall, smiling a bit as he sees them.

I stand in the doorway as I wait for the meal to get ready "you like them?" I ask As I see you looking at the pictures

I turn around to look at you and smile a little.
"They're nice." I say warmly.
Another thing I rarely have in my apartment... Mac, get your ass movin'.

"thanks" I smile and walk back into the kitchen to finish our meal. Without knowing I start singing

Some time later I slowing head over to the kitchen, leaning against the door frame and then watch you, smiling. And I actually like the song.

I finish the meal and put it on the plates, to make it look perfect. I don't even notice Mac standing there, I just go on with the things I have to do

And Mr. Mac Taylor enjoys that fact, because he feels quite comfortable in his position and with what he's doing.

After a little while I finally finish the plates and picks them up from the counter and turns around "I thought you were in the living room" I say when I see Mac standing in the door frame

"Well, I was. But decided to see what else your apartment offers. Besides, our meal smells delicious." I comment.

I shake my head and smiles "I'm glad you think so, what do you think about my apartment so far?" I ask and take the plates to the dinner table

"Well, a bit smaller than mine, but very warm and livable." I say, actually liking the fact that this apartment was a little smaller than mine. Maybe I should move some day, shedding memories and start my life again.

"It's big enough for just me" I smile and put the plates on the table "you may sit down now" I smile again and grab our glasses from the coffee table, &nd put em on the dinner table

I nod and then do what you told me, a smile tugging at the coner of my lips.
"Well, I don't mind having a smaller place, though."
