Unbelievable [everyone]

After a little while we arrive at my place. "here are my keys" I give Mac the keys for when we get to my apartment

I take them and of course, gentleman that I am, help her on the way up and let her enter her apartment first.

"I keep saying thanks to you Mac" I smile and enter my apartment. I quickly walk to the couch and lay down "I'm gonna kill the idiot who did this" I say frustrated

"Ah, I don't wanna visit you in a prison, Stella. He's not even worth it." I say with a small smile.

"urghhh you're right but this is not nice!" I frown and lift my shirt a bit. I look down on the wound "I'm stuck with this forever.."

"Trust me, it looks worse than it'll be in the end." I say encouraging.

"yea but how on earth am I gonna wear a bikini like this :/" i don't wanna whine about it but it sucks, big time.

"As I said, take your time to recover and the remains of that will be such a small scar no one will notice." I tell her again. "Besides, if someone notices you've got something to tell him and be proud of surviving."

I pout and look at you "ya very great thing to talk about Mac.."

"Oh c'mon... You're giving me a hard time here." I say about to give up.

"no one wants a woman with a hole in her body.." I frown

"are you sure about that?" I ask in a weak tone.

"no but still a hole Mac...." I point at my stomach again..

"Which is going to heal and then there will be no whole left, Stella." I say again close to call her honey, but I somehow manage not to say that.

"no.. There will be a scar, i'm gonna have to wear a wetsuit for sure" I Should stop with whining but not today

"I'm giving up." I say and shrug. I don't know what else to say.

"I already started to wonder when you would give up" I tell him with a little smile

"You know that a Mac Taylor doesn't give up easily." I counter with a small smile.

"I know but you just did" I smile the same smile I smiled at the doctor again

"Well, I'll be back in the game when I find another argument to tell you." I say and smile back. Does she even know that this smile is making my knees go weak? "I'm not sure it would change anything I said, I would want you, even with that 'whole'."

"Mac you just try to make me feel better, you don't have to" I tell him with a smile. "I'll be fine with hole on me, there's probably a crazy guy who wants me with a hole"

"Yeah, I already told you one 'crazy guy'" I say in truth, not taking my words back as it was the truth.

"oh Mac c'mon you're not a crazy guy" I smile

"That's very good to know." I reply with a small smile. "But doesn't change what I said before."

"Mac you're my best friend of course you still want me even with a hole" I smile
