On the phone [Mac]

Lays on her bed, sighs and grabs the phone 'yep I'm going to call him and ask' I tell myself and dial his number and wait for him to answer. 'c'mon Mac pick up'

I'm in my bed and reading in a scientific magazine when the phone on my nightstand buzzed to life. Absently I grab it and don't look at the ID as I answer.
"Taylor."

"Hello Taylor, It's Bonasera" I smile and play with my hair

"Stella." I say in a somewhat happy tone, a smile automatically appearing on my face.
"Sorry, I thought it was Don or someone else." I said and rested the magazine on my lap.

"No it's just me" I smile and roll on my back, It's always nice to hear his voice

"Well, I am actually very happy that it's only you. Besides I like your voice in my ears at that hour much better than Don's." I comment and make myself comfortable on my bed again.

"It's nice to hear your voice too" I smile while I look at the ceiling while I put the covers over myself

"Oh, really?" I asked a bit surprised.

"Yes really, you've been my partner for so long, how can I not love your voice after hearing it so often?"

I chuckly softly and then smile into my bedroom.
"I guess there's something true about it."

"O yes there is" I smile again, I wonder why I keep smiling, guess it's just nice to be on the phone with someone like him before I go to sleep

"Did you know that our nose decided wether we like someone or not?" I ask as I looked down at the magazine on my lap.

"Our nose? you mean the smell of someone else makes us like someone?" I grin and snuggle further into the covers

"Yes. There's a small nerve in our nose that is responsible for that." I said. "Sorry... I was reading in a science magazine when you called." I chuckle.

"from now on I blame my nose for my actions" I chuckle as well and smile "science magazine huh? are there more interesting topics in it?"

"Well, as long you don't blame me..." I chuckled. "I didn't get past that article, but I read that there writing about some new techniques for analyzing evidence and DNA."

"hmm maybe I should blame you" "ok what about you telling me a story while I'm trying to sleep? I might not blame you then"

"Me telling you a story? You'd be asleep before I even started." I laugh.

"but I'll probably have a nice dream then, or don't you want me to sleep?"

"Hm... what should I say now?" I ponder. "I guess I can't take your sleep from you, I'd be cursed tomorrow if I did."

"oh you can and you are allowed to keep me up, no matter what it is" I smile and turn on my side

"Oh my... I don't have a chance to win this, do I?" I sigh playfully. "Okay... what do you want me to tell you?"

"I don't know, you can make up a story or just tell me something I don't know yet"

"Hm... oh... I offered Haylen to do a training at the Police Academy and join us in the field. You know, like Sheldon." I tell you.

"That's great but please Mac, something NOT work related" I grin and roll back on my back while holding the phone against my ear
