"Thank you." I said to Shannon, smiling thankfully and then heard Stella greeting us.
"Hey Stella."

"Your welcome" Shannon replied before she looked over at Stella

At the same time I took a seat on the oposite site of the table from where Shannon and Thomas were sitting and greeted Danny, with a handshake.

I smile and walk up to young guy behind the bar "hey handsome, how's your mom doing?" I grin and kiss his cheek. Haven't seen his mom in a long time and I see him quite often luckily. I remember being his babysitter, good times

Shannon watched Stella and smiled a bit before sitting back down at the table with the others

Just greeted Haylen, then Stella, with a smile. And when I saw Haylen I asked her. "So what about your new man, where is he ?"

"If you weren't a detective I'd ask you how on earth you knew about my 'new man'." I said to Danny with a small grin. "He's gotta work tonight."

"I'd be careful if I were Danny, Haylen's lad is not one to mess with." Thomas said to Danny

I smile and laugh when I hear the reply from Haylen "Oh I can always search by myself if you didn't tell me, as I am a detective". Then I heard Thomas too and laugh again.

"Yeah, I know. Forgot about the Emerald Society." I said to him and grin a little. "But Thomas' would be right."

"Well if you say, but looks really easy to say that you are in love, and it's great, I am happy for you" I added with a smile. She deserved it.

"Thank you, Danny." I said, blushing a little.

"You are welcome" I reply then when I saw she was blushing, "So any chances that we meet him one day?"

"I want to meet him too, Haylen!" I grin

Thomas stood with Haylen as Danny spoke to her, Shannon was next to him holding his hand

I look at both my co-workers and smile a little.
"Maybe next time, but definitely at the Major's Ball." I said.

"Oh I can't wait for the Major's Ball" but of course not only to see her man

Thomas and Shannon nodded, "Same here Stella" Shannon said to her, smiling a bit

"It's going to be great!" I say with a big smile

Shannon nodded in agreement, "It will be with all of us there" she added

After I drink a part of my beer I added "Sound good for me too"

"I hope it will be. I heard Mac has to give the speech this year and he has no chance of gettin' out." I said in a low tone, so only they could hear what I said.

Thomas nodded, "Aye" he replied in the same low tone, Shannon smiled a bit when Haylen said that

"I heard that as well, That's going to be even better, Mac on a stage" Grins

"You like him pretty much, don't you Stella?" I asked with a grin.
