Flour, Sugar and Chocolate

Mac was standing in the kitchen, wearing an apron over his dark blue T-Shirt and sweatpants. He had a bowl in front of him on the counter as well as flour, sugar, chocolate and various other items they would need.
His wife Claire had finally talked him into a day at home with her to bake cake. Not really being able to resist anyways, he had agreed and here he was, intending to make a chocolate cake, but he had no idea whatsoever. With an almost pleading look he turned to Claire.
"Help?"

She starts laughing "oh mac, i told you to wait" she walks up to him and gives him a quick kiss. "lets see how far you got" she looks at the counter top "flour, Sugar and Chocolate. Nicely done!"

Mac grinned a little sheepishly. Yes, she did tell him to wait, but at least he could get the items they needed, right? That's all he had wanted to do.
"Just wanted to have everything ready we needed." he replied to his defense, though in a light tone. "Anything missing?"

"maybe some water? A spoon and such?" she grins and grabs the last things they need. "Lets bake the best cake ever" she looks at him smiling

Mac smirked a little and nodded. "Well, good luck with me untalented chief and baker, sweetheart." he deadpanned with a slight smirk.

"you should practice more often Mac!" she smiles and starts working on the cake, giving him some things to do

Mac only chuckled a little in reply. "Too busy catching the bad guys and when I'm not busy with that, I am too busy making my wife happy." he countered playfully, while doing whatever she gave him to do.
