Jake grow up in a foster family. Never really knew his parents. Not for say that his foster parents were not the best but every family have their problems. He went to high school. But with some difficulties, due to his frequentation. His friends weren't really best people with who to hang up.
But when you want to have friends sometimes you do bad things too, human error. Now he is 26, and do some basic jobs. And he didn't really know in which direction to go for his future. Looking for now just what can be the best for him without really thinking about what life can deserve to him.
He met Katy in high school, and that is also where he start to meet problems too. But the way Katy was comprehensible to him and how she was always there for help or be with him, make him to have the sentiment to be someone. Feel in love each others. And now while Katy work in a bakery, he support her in, and try to find something too.
His bad frequentation with friends sometimes can put him on the bad size which supposed to be in the future conduct to the police office. But he do all he can for never be over there. In fact some of the CSI team member already know him, some like Mac, Lindsay,...
