Priceless [Mac]

Having a girls afternoon with Lindsay is amazing, but coming home and seeing your best friend and lover in the living room with our three weeks old baby girl is priceless. Seeing the little girl pulling faces at her daddy as he is trying to make her talk already is making me so happy. After putting away my coat and car keys I start making a cup of coffee for both me and Mac. Once done I take the cups into the living room and sit down next to him, resting my head on his shoulder and look at our baby daughter in his arms.

To say that I was happy was an understatement. Actually since our daughter was born, I was the happiest man alive. That was what I thought. And I enjoyed every minute that I spent with her and Stella.
Lately I tried to get as much time with them as I could, knowing it was important to be around our little princess as much as possible and actually I was pretty proud.

When Stella sat down next to us, I look up at her with a loving smile, then watch our daughter again.
"Look who's there." I said to the small girl, who looks up at her mommy with what looks like a smile.

I almost forgot to put the cups on the table so I do it now and hear what Mac says and looks at our beautiful girl "hello little one" I greet our daughter and kiss her forehead.

"How did it go?" I ask with a smile, it was the first day Mac was alone with her.

"Pretty well, actually. She's been a good girl." I reply and smile a bit as well. "Right?" I ask the little girl in my arm, who looks at me with her big eyes, too young to understand anything that was going on.
"Eeeehhaaa" she babbles happily.

"I'm glad about that Mac" I say and plant a kiss on his cheek, still looking down on our beautiful daughter.

"Shall mom make dinner?" I ask smiling

I look at her and have another idea.
"How about mommy enjoys some time with the little one here and daddy makes dinner?" I suggest.

"That sounds fair to me" I say and stroke our daughters cheek "mommy loves you"

I look up at you and smiles "and I love daddy too"

I smile at you.
"And daddy loves mommy just as much. And his little princess of course." I say and get ready to hand the beautiful little girl over to you.
